Quri Qale Cave غار قوري قلعه is a cave located northwest of Ravansar, Iran, and is one of the longest caves in western Asia.
First explored in the 1950s, in 1989 it was further opened by an Iranian team. It contains three main chambers, with calcite crystals, stalactites and waterfalls.
It is known for its colony of mouse ear bats, and for a number of archaeological finds, including silver plates dating the late Sassanian period دوره ساسانيان.
From the other side, Ghoori Ghale cave is located in the Kermanshah province near the Paveh city شهر پاوه.
It is the biggest water cave in the Middle East with 65 million years history! The length of the cave is 12 km and the depth of is water is 14 meter in some sections.
Unfortunately around 1.5 km of the cave is ready to VISIT and WALK and if you want to visit the 10.5km you need to have scuba diving facilities and it is not possible for ordinary visitors.
The cave has some big and nice halls and the weather of the cave is (7 to 11)°C centigrade degree in all seasons. Some people say that the end of the cave in under the city of Paveh.

Ghoori Ghale (Quri Qale) water cavern(s) is located 85 Km west of kermanshah City. It runs 12 Km (7.5 miles) inside the Zagros Mountain Range. At this time only 1.5 Km is open to the public
There are 3 rather large cathedrals inside at about every 500 meters intervals:
- The Prayer Hall
- The Crystal Hall
- The Bridal Hall

Quri Qale Cave or QuraQala (Kurdish: Şkefta QureQela, Persian: غار قوری قلعه) is a cave located northwest of Ravansar, Iran, and is one of the longest caves in western Asia.

Qouri Qala or Qouri Qal’eh cave is the largest water cave of Middle East with a 65 million year background, located in Kermanshah province. This cave is located in the 25 kilometer distance of Ravansar town, in the hillside of Shahou Mountain and has an overlooking scene of Ravansar – Paveh route in the neighboring area of a village with the same name.
There are 4 waterfalls in the depths of the ground which this feature differentiates this cave with other similar ones.
This cave has been a safe and remote place throughout history and detection of relics such as some plates, bowls, and some coins from Yazdegerd III era indicates its age and use in ancient times.
This cave is 12 kilometers long and is 3140 meter deep. And it is registered as one of Iran’s seven natural and national relics.
This cave was first registered as Iran’s natural and national relic by the Department of Environment and then it was registered as the 54th national relic in the list of Iran’s natural heritage by the Cultural Heritage Organization on March 17th, 2009.
