Giant Cedar Boardwalk Trail, Revelstoke National Park, BC
Me and the family take you through this beautiful old growth forest of old Western Cedars. The trail and boardwalk are very easy and only about 500 meters long from the parking lot and back. It is really worth it if you are driving by to stop and check it out. The western red cedars here were over 500 years old according to the signs.
The large shrub plant with the large leaves is called Devil's club.

Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail | Native Forest | Canada
Another one of my favourite places, and such a great hike! Sadly, this one is just out of reach of Alberta :)
Follow the Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail, a very accessible walk through native forest that allows people of just about all levels of fitness to see British Columbia’s mighty cedar trees. The boardwalk is part of the expansive Mount Revelstoke National Park, so enjoy the opportunity to see one of its most awe-inspiring features without having to hike far.

Let's Visit 2016 (June) Giant Cedars Nature Trail
Walking through the Giant Cedars Nature Trail in Mount Revelstoke National Park, BC, Canada. Due to all the half-stairs, this trail is NOT handicap friendly. In fact, I edited out a slip by both myself and Heather due to the half stairs deceptively being hidden to your peripheral vision. Nevertheless, a really fun walk and a must see if you are in the area.

ROAD TRIP! Exploring the Boardwalks of Revelstoke and Glacier National Park
We took a road trip to the HEMLOCK GROVE BOARDWALK in Glacier National Park and got spooked out! The boardwalk was creepy and felt haunted - the forest was over 350 years old! We continued on our road trip to REVELSTOKE NATIONAL PARK and visited the GIANT CEDARS BOARDWALK and the SKUNK AND CABBAGE BOARDWALK too! It's always so much fun to explore a new place! Let's G0!

Glacier & Revelstoke - Canada's National Parks
A short tour of some beautiful scenery in Canada's Glacier Park and Mount Revelstoke Park. Each park is quite mountainous with opportunities for hiking and sight seeing. Revelstoke is known for its meandering 16+ mile drive that rises nearly a mile in elevation and reaches a mountain top meadow (Meadows in the Sky) that is filled with wildflowers during the right time of the year. Glacier Park scenes include the Rock Garden, the Hemlock Grove, and various scenic places. The Revelstoke scenes were all viewed at Meadows in the Sky.
Revelstoke BC (British Columbia) Canada - Driving Tour in City - Ski Resort Area
We are driving around the city/town of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. It's conveniently located a mere 600 plus kilometers from Vancouver.
If you want to avoid Whistler, which has turned into an overpriced Disn--land, Revelstoke is the place you should be. Lots of snow in winter and a big enough small town with lots of accommodations.
