GIBRALTAR // A Walk through the Alameda Botanic Gardens ????????
Today we are in the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens also known as the Alameda Gardens. No sun due to the Levante cloud but it was still a lovely morning for a walk. The Botanic Gardens are located at the foot of the Rock of Gibraltar and span around 6 hectares. The plants of the Botanic Gardens are a combination of native species and others brought in from abroad. All footage is filmed with a GoPro Hero 7 Black.

The animals seem happy enough but the place could do with a little cash - rusty old cages etc and a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss so come on Government spend a few quid, it would be good for locals and tourists alike or maybe the Bonita Trust could help out.

International garden photography winners on show at the Alameda Gardens
Gibraltar is hosting the winning entries of the ‘International Garden Photographer of the Year’ competition. Held annually at Kew, with a rolling programme of touring exhibitions held all over the world, it’s described as the premier competition and exhibition in garden and plant photography. The winning images depict beautiful natural landscapes round the world and a variety of plant life. The exhibition will be on show at the Alameda Botanic Gardens throughout the Summer.
