Yep. Washington State is amazing, the coast has Long Beach which is the world's longest beach and it can be driven on, beautiful rain forests, tidal estuaries, rugged mountains in the Cascades, fertile farm lands and rugged barren land that is looks as if time has forgotten to change and more fertile land loaded with orchards and vineyards.
I often say that every state in the US could be a country to itself and Washington is living proof.

On October 15, 2015 the New Wanapum Heritage Center was opened to the public. This exhibit has many different artifacts that show the evolution of the Wanapum people. Permanent and temporary exhibits, written and spoken language and a library are all available to the public at no cost to them. Traveling East of the Cascade Mountains in Search of 70 Degrees - Chasing 70 Degrees
First, I have to apologize for the doubling up of muisic on the intro. I worked on this video for more than 12 hours and I gave up on making it perfect. I promise the next will be better!
In this episode we are traveling across the Cascade mountains in search of 70 degree weather. We'll be staying in Vantage and visiting Caliche Lake, the Wild Horse Monument for the steel art installation called Grandfather cuts loose the ponies. We'll also be visiting and camping on the Old Vantage Hwy at Frenchman Coulee. This is a great rock climbing area named The Feathers.
