Glasgow Cathedral
Glasgow Cathedral is built on the site where St Kentigern, or Mungo, the first bishop within the ancient British kingdom of Strathclyde, was thought to have been buried in AD 612.
The present cathedral was built during the 13th to 15th centuries.
It is the only medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland to have survived the 1560 Reformation virtually complete.
Glasgow Cathedral stands majestically in the heart of Scotland’s largest city. It is the only medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland to have survived the Protestant Reformation of 1560 virtually intact. There used to be a chanonry around it – a precinct where the bishops (and later archbishops) and clergy had their residences. To its south, a thriving burgh sprang up, under episcopal patronage. That burgh has since expanded into the great metropolis we now see.

Glasgow Cathedral Tour
Dating back to the 13th Century, Glasgow Cathedral is sometimes also referred to as the Cathedral of St. Mungo or St. Kentigern’s. The building’s main distinction is that it’s mainland Scotland’s only remaining medieval cathedral that is still intact. Due to the Protestant Reformation which took place in the 16th century, Catholic mass was outlawed in Scotland, leaving pre-reformation cathedrals to go to ruin. With religious zealots attacking and destroying other grand medieval places of worship, it’s a wonder that Glasgow Cathedral survive. Reputedly, when the cathedral was threatened by local Presbyterians, the number of defenders outnumbered attackers, and the building was saved.
The site of the cathedral has long been linked with religion, with Glasgow’s Patron Saint, St Mungo building a church in the vicinity during the 6th Century.
Glasgow, Scotland
People of Glasgow have a sense of humor. They put a traffic cone on the head of a horse and another to the head of a horseman. Glasgow Cathedral is the oldest cathedral in Scotland. It's the only medieval cathedral to survived the protestant reformation of 1560 virtual intact. But the previous denomination is the Roman Catholicism. (1137-1500)

???? Real Interactive Spirit Voice | * Strong Language * | Cathedral House Hotel, Glasgow, Scotland ????
This is a REAL interactive spirit voice from within Glasgow Cathedral Hotel. It does include swearing so if you are easily offended, please be warned.
The following audio was captured by my close friend & fellow
researcher into the mysteries and spirituality, Mark Turner.
The device in use was a Panasonic DR 60 without any white noise or sound banks. Mark also had a strong connection to spirit in this work
whereas when he was the focal point of questions, the replies would be clearer and easier to understand than other files.
These records are over a decade old; please excuse the quality due to this. We try our best to clean these up for the public.
These are Spirit Voices, without a doubt!
It always benefits the user to analyse the audio carefully via software. The latest programs can take your older audio files and clean them significantly to pull out such captures.
In my upcoming book, I will speak specifically about analysis and audio capture techniques. The book contract is signed, and I'm working flat out to get all the details included within to help others.
We could put together free videos to show you the techniques too if you are interested.
Everyone can do this, even you!

In the old part of Glasgow, next door to the cathedral, this 19th century, Scottish Baronial-style building has been beautifully converted into a unique 8-bedroom hotel.
Perfectly complimenting the hotel’s origins, all rooms reflect the shape and quirkiness of the layout of the Victorian architecture. Most have views of either Glasgow Cathedral or the Necropolis.
The Cathedral House Hotel is a privately-run hotel. You won't find any corporate logos here, just genuine hospitality, a warm welcome and a friendly environment.
Free Wi-Fi access now available in the bar-bistro area.
