Many of the windows are missing frame and sash elements. These will be replicated in our wood shop.

Glencoe Mill Dam on The Haw River
Glencoe Mill Dam, this dam and its Village are aprox 4 miles from where I was raised on the Haw. My parents house was 3-4 miles downstream.
I used to fish a lot here as a young man. This Dam is one of many on the Haw River. It is a very nice place to fish if you don't mind wading.

Massive Flooding at Northeast Park - Guilford County, NC
Hurricane Florence has brought very heavy rains to our area. Worst flooding at Northeast Park in Eastern Guilford County that I've ever seen.
NC Regulators in the Battle of Alamance
The Battle of Alamance was the culmination of the short-lived tax revolt known as the War of the Regulation between the North Carolina Regulators and Governor William Tryon in May of 1771. The battle ended in quick disaster for the Regulators but left a deep imprint on the people of North Carolina and is considered by some historians as the battle that set the stage for the upcoming American Revolution
