For a weekend in June 2013, we had 45 MacLean's from the States visiting Isle of Eriska for a family reunion. After days of touring the land of their origins, they celebrated in style with exclusive use of the island, exquisite cuisine made from local produce, dance, a live performance by the Wistlebinkies and fireworks!

Das Isle of Eriska Hotel gehört zu den schönsten, privat geführten Landhaushotels Schottlands. Alle 16 Zimmer des Isle of Eriska Hotels, Spa & Island verfügen über jeglichen Komfort, den man von einer luxuriösen 5-Sterne Unterkunft erwarten darf.
Neben den Deluxe und Standard-Zimmern im Hauptgebäude sind vor allen Dingen die fünf Spa-Suiten und die beiden Cottage-Suiten mit jeweils zwei Schlafräumen auf den weitläufigen Ländereien ringsum, zu denen auch ein 9-Loch Golfplatz gehört, sehr populär, weil sie noch mehr Ruhe, Entspannung und Privatsphäre bieten. Sie sind zudem geräumiger und haben im privaten Garten einen eigenen Whirlpool. Mit dem Arnott’s House gibt es außerdem noch eine Selbstversorgeroption mit drei Schlafzimmern, welche nur eine kurze Fahrt vom Hotel entfernt liegt.
Gleich zwei vorzügliche Restaurants befinden sich im Hotel. Feinste Cuisine wird im Haupthaus serviert, während das Deck-Restaurant im Spa- und Wellness-Bereich der früheren Stallgebäude etwas informeller geführt wird, dennoch jedoch exzellente Menüs auf den Tisch zaubert, die sich meist um die regionalen frischen Früchte des Meeres drehen und außerdem bei tollen Aussichten genossen werden können.
