These are the opinions of HPG and SNIPE they are not necessarily the opinions of others.

Historic Bell Homestead, Brantford Ontario
Alexander Graham Bell conceptualized the telephone in July 1874 at his family's Tutela Heights Brantford 1858 residence, 'Melville House', their home from 1870 on. Mr. Bell made his first long distance telephone call to nearby Paris, Ontario in August 1876, and thereby transformed our society. This slideshow presents architectural views of the Bell homestead representative of the 1870's, with close-up details and the Tutela Height October landscape colours, accompanied by William Ackerman performing Just Before the Dawn. Quotes about thought consciousness by Plato bookend the images.
