Urbex: ABANDONED SUBDIVISION Florida
Exploring an abandoned subdivision in West Central Florida known as Hillside Estates, a housing project. The project consists of 90 units built in the 1970s. According to media sources, several past board members of the Brooksville Housing Authority were misusing funds provided to them by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development as well as not following policy guidelines. They couldn't afford to keep up with the ongoing maintenance and repairs to the homes forcing the residents to relocate with rental vouchers. Because only so many vouchers could be released at one time, there was a staggered exodus from the properties. The residents starting moving out in September of 2012 with everyone expected to be gone by December 2012. Below is a link of one of the news articles that paints more detail:

WATCH: President's one-on-one interview with Local 12
CINCINNATI - President Donald Trump held a campaign rally at U.S. Bank Arena Thursday night and said in a one-on-one interview that he believes Republicans will take back control of the House of Representatives in 2020.
“We think we can win back the House,” Mr. Trump said. “Ohio’s been so good to me that’s one of the reasons I’m here now. It’s a long way before the election but it’s one of the reasons.”
President Trump won Ohio by more than 8% in 2016 when Hillary Clinton was the Democratic nominee. But a recent poll from Quinnipiac University showed former Vice President Joe Biden would be Trump by 10 points if the election were held now.
“I can’t imagine the people of Ohio voting for sleepy Joe, to be honest with you,” President Trump said when asked about the poll.
Mr. Trump has repeatedly touted the economy and low unemployment numbers. According to numbers released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics last month, the unemployment rate for June was 3.7%. Ohio’s unemployment rate was slightly higher in June at 4.0%.
In the hours before Air Force One touched down in Northern Kentucky Thursday, Mr. Trump announced on Twitter that he would impose 10% tariffs on $300 billion worth of Chinese imports on September 1 if a trade deal wasn’t reached. A 25% tariff has already been levied on $250 billion worth of Chinese products.
“We’re either going to get a really tough, smart trade deal or we’re going to tariff their products,” President Trump said.
Mr. Trump said he was not concerned when asked whether imposing more tariffs would hurt the economy. The Dow Jones slipped nearly 300 points after the president’s tweet announcing the planned tariff.
“Short term there may be a little bit of an ouch and I knew that exactly when I did it. I said let’s see if the market goes down how much. The market went down, that’s ok. The market’s going to go up many, many fold,” the president said.
Immigration was the president’s signature issue when he ran in 2016. He campaigned on a promise to build a wall along the southern border with Mexico. At Thursday’s rally, a few protesters held up a sheet marked “kids in cages” with bars cut on it. Mr. Trump has been criticized for detention centers where children have been housed - some have were separated from their parents.
Decriminalizing immigration was discussed at Wednesday’s Democratic debate in Detroit. Candidate Julian Castro said he wanted to decriminalize illegal border crossings and make the offenses civil.
“If you start decriminalizing you’re going to have millions and millions of people pouring into our country and already we had to go, Democrats will never vote - they want open borders,” Mr. Trump said.
Earlier this week, President Trump’s tweets about the city of Baltimore being infested with rats set off a firestorm. His critics called Mr. Trump and his tweets racist. Part of Baltimore is represented by Rep. Elijah Cummings, a Democrat who chairs the House Oversight Committee. The committee has been investigating the president’s finances among other things.
“My comment is I’m the least racist person in the world. Everybody knows it,” Mr. Trump said. “They called Nancy Pelosi, a similar group, they called her racist. They call everybody racist when they run out of ammunition. They bring out the R-word.”
He added, “Elijah Cummings should be ashamed of himself for not having done a better job. He’s been there for 26 years so he should take his oversight committee and go to Baltimore and he could maybe learn a lot because what’s happened in Baltimore is disgraceful.”
