Go Ape Tree Top Adventure | A day at Go Ape

Go Ape is the UK’s No.1 Forest Adventure offering Award-Winning Outdoor Activities and Days Out in some of Britain’s most breathtaking scenery. Shot in May 2014 the film features the Tree Top Adventure, Zip Wire, High Ropes and Segway forest trail at Go Ape in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, UK.

The multi-award winning and original forest adventure set high up in the canopy. Enjoy two to three hours in the trees, taking on Zip Wires, Tarzan Swings, Rope Ladders and a variety of obstacles and crossings.

Downhill MTB Trails Forest of Dean

Fod downhill trails are plentiful and have loads of fun flowy sections with some decent jumps and tech lines.

Forest of Dean Cycle Centre is just outside of South Wales Near Gloucester. There is a large car park which is around £5 per day (ish).
There are other free parking areas scattered around the large forest.

The post code below will take you to the main centre which has an on site bike shop, hot food, bike wash and home of the Uplift service.

The uplift service gets very busy during weekends, you can book here...
Or you can pedal/push to the top of the DH trail head in about 30 mins.

In the bike park there is roughly 7/8 DH trails that vary in difficulty and all have multiple splits on the way down. There is nothing super gnarly here but enough for the trails to test every ability of rider.

There is also a skills area to practice on aswell as a pump track and a couple of fun Enduro/xc loops at about an 1hr loop each.

If you fancy trying something else other than biking then there is a Go Ape and plenty of walkers trails. If you want to try biking they do bike hire from the on site shop and there is a family trail to cruise on.
