Our First Time Sailing in Dublin Bay, Ireland
We went sailing for our first time in Dublin Bay, Ireland! Going out with our sailing instructor friend Troy with his company uSail. We set out from Dun Laoghaire for the afternoon on Dublin Bay. Amazing weather and surprisingly warm. A challenge as the boat can get pretty fast but still a ton of fun and yet easier than we thought it would be. Give sailing a try in Dublin at or wherever you may be, give it a go!

Dun laoghaire & Killiney
DunLaoghaire & Killiney on the coast are both accesible by DART trains which run very frequently from Dublin's Connolly Station.
Private yachts are moored in DunLaoghaire's harbour. I was there while the wind was blowing a gale and the clatter of the yacht beams made what sounded like a musical pieve
Killiney is the posh area of Dublin - to live there you have to be wealthy, but it's a great place to go for a stroll and a hike up to the Obelisk

Having spent most of last winter fixing my boat… I’l be spending most of this summer sailing a different one.
Not that I’m complaining because I’m very lucky to have been asked to crew for a Fastnet Campaign aboard Amokura, a beautiful 1939 Fred Shepherd Yawl.
In this episode I travelled to Falmouth to help the owner, Paul Moxon and a team of remarkable boat builders and engineers to prepare for adventure.
