Flying is the best way to see the Isle of Skye. We'll fly you from our home airfield of Broadford just 6 minutes drive from the Skye Bridge. In this clip, Andrew, a local Doctor was surprised with a SkyeFlight on the launch day in June 2018 and absolutely loved it. His Flight took in the Isle of Pabay just to the north of Broadford and then turned south over the Sleat Peninsular and from that point on the Island you can see the world famous Cuillins and the mainland.

A Few Days In Portree, Isle of Skye
I took myself up to Skye at the end of January 2016 - it was just my luck to go in the middle of the battering the UK has been getting by storms this Winter, with Gertrude being the latest culprit. Still, I managed to have some fun and the views on my way and back again were just stunning. It also means I'll have to go back at some point! :)

4 Days on the Isle of Skye | Vlog
Steven and I took a short trip to the Isle of Skye for Valentine's Day and a few days afterwards. This is just a short collection of some of the things we saw while we were there. I hope you enjoy!
The weather was pretty wet and windy on the Tuesday so we spent most of that day in our room.
We stayed in room 6 at 'The House Over-By' at The Three Chimneys where we had dinner every evening. The food was amazing and they could make everything gluten free for me.

วันลมแรงหน้าแหกที่ Highland / Isle of Skye Ep.1
วันนี้เราเดินทางขึ้นเหนือไปยัง Highland วันแรกครับ วันที่ลมแรงชนิดที่หน้าถึงหู แต่ก้อนะความอากาศแปรปรวน ความฟ้าสีทึ่มๆ นี่ก้อเป็นเสน่ห์อย่างนึงของที่นี่แหละครับ
แวะจุดแรกที่ Glenfinnan Viaduct ฉากทางรถไฟใน Harry Potter ถือเป็นจุดที่ทุกคนมาเที่ยวสก็อตแลนด์แล้วต้องมา คอมพลีทกันไปแบบชิวๆเลยครับ
จากนั้นขับรถขึ้นเหนือไปยัง Isle of Skye เริ่มด้วย สะพาน Sligachan เป็นอีกจุดที่นักท่องเที่ยวไม่เคยพลาด แต่ลมแรงชนิดที่รถจอดนิ่งๆแล้วขยับตามลม
จุดต่อมา Old Man of Storr เป็นแท่งหินแหลมสูงบนเนินเขา เป็นอีกจุดชมวิวนึงใน Highland แต่ด้วยความที่วันนี้ลมแรงมาก บวกกับต้องเดินขึ้นเขาลาดชันไปอีกหลายกิโลกว่าจะถึงยอด พวกเราก็ขอบายกันเพราะต้องเก็บอีกหลายจุด
ขับรถมาอีกไม่ไกล จะเจอจุดชมวิวถัดไปคือ Kilt Rock เป็นผาหินสูงที่ตัดหล่นลงไปสู่มหาสมุทรแอตแลนติก ณ จุดนี้เราได้เห็นน้ำจากทะเลสาบ Mealt ที่อยู่บริเวณใกล้เคียงไหลมาตกที่ผาแห่งนี้ อันนี้ดีครับ เดินไม่ไกล เดินสบาย
จุดสุดท้ายในวันนี้ เราขับรถขึ้นไปยอดเขา Quiraing ถึงแม้เส้นทางไปยังยอดเขาจะคดเคี้ยวแต่ก้อมีวิวธรรมชาติสวยๆ ที่ต้องมาเห็นสักครั้งในชีวิต มีทางเทรคด้วยนะ แต่อาจจะต้องเผื่อเวลาและเช็คอากาศมาก่อนก็ดีครับ
จบทริปด้วยการขับรถกลับมาพักที่ Duisdale House Hotel ที่แนะนำมาโดยเพื่อนคนนึง ผู้ร่วมทริปทุกคนให้ความเห็นว่า ถ้ามีเวลามากๆ (จริงๆ) ก้อขับวนมานะ แต่ถ้าไม่มีเวลาแนะนำพักที่ Portree อาจจะสะดวกกว่า

Trip to Portee Skye Scotland, Part:1เที่ยวสกาย ขับรถสะบักสะบอม7ชั่วโมง!????
????????Hi everyone I drove 7 hours to Isle of Skye when I got there it was 2am and it was dark and heavy rain⛈???? I ended sleeping in the car???? couldn’t get out of to put tent up, the all experience just bad one! But I love Skye I would do again next week at least the rain kept the midges down!! Lol thank you very much for watching wish you a happy day oh yes still raining here!!????????
Ceilidh in Portree, Isle of Skye
We came across a Ceilidh at the Royal Hotel in Portree, with performances by the Portree Gaelic Choir and local musicians. Singing, bagpipes, fiddles, guitars, dancing, beer, and whisky. We were one of the very few non-locals in attendance, but everyone was very hospitable and a good time was had by all!
Hang-gliding over the Quiraing, on Skye
A hang-glider pilots eye view of one of the most spectacular places in Britain, The Quiraing!
Dont watch if you suffer from vertigo as there is spinning motion, Etc.
There are no tastefully tuned tones on this video, so as not to infringe possible copyrights, The background sounds are those of the flight, the wind, the variometer & a minimum of ripe language, LoL.
The camera, a Sony Bloggie, is attached to the glider, not to a helmet. At less than a third of the price of a Go Pro or Contour, the Bloggie aquits its self quite well and its swivelling lens system lends itself readily to this type of activity.
The Quiraing, because of its remote location, isn't flown very often, but, I promise the adverturous, an experience never to be forgotten. It has easy access to a car park and take off from the edge of the car park. Even a catering van with some suprisingly exotic food like, Like Bison and other similar sandwiches. All from sustainable sources.
The best wind direction for soaring flight is East to SE. Skye has just enjoyed 4 months of unprecedented good weather, while the rest of the U.K. has been swimming.

48 hours on the ISLE OF SKYE
We only had one full day on Skye, so we try to cram two days’ worth of itinerary into it!
We visited the Talisker distillery and the beautiful bay from which it takes its name, ate sea food at the Oyster Shed and walked to Kilt Rock and Neast falls from our brilliantly situated AirBnb.
We climbed the Old Man of Storr, a 50 m tall rock pinnacle and explored the Quiraing, a jumble of rock towers and grassy domes formed in ancient volcanic flows and subsequent slippages.
A narrow roads took us to Neist Point on the west coast, where sea birds cling to the dark rocks below the picturesque lighthouse and the outer Hebrides islands are visible low on the horizon.
We were warned of crowds on Skye, but perhaps we were ahead of them, as we never saw more than one or two tour buses at a time, and often hiked alone for hours.

A great visit to Scotland in early May 2018. A breathtaking journey from Glasgow to the Isle of Skye by the amazing Glen Coe. The base was located in Glenelg from where every day we were going to admire the beautiful Isle of Skye. Sometimes by Glenelg-Skye ferry and sometimes a Skye Bridge in Kyle of Lochalsh. In early May the sun sets quite late so we could explore the island from morning to night. We will definitely remember Old Man of Storr, Neist Point, Portree, Talisker distillery, Fairy Glen, Kilt Rock and of course gorgeous Quiraing. We accidentally got to the small town of Elgol. It was something absolutely wonderful. And this view of Black Cuillin….

Scotland - Isle of Skye Backpacking Gopro
In september 2017, we went for a 4-days backpacking trip to the Isle of Skye. We took a bus from Glasgow to Portree, and then from there another bus to the north of Skye, Duntulm. We walked the Skye trail up to Portree. We slept one night in a hostel and the other nights in the wild on the Trotternish ridge. We had a lot of wind and rain, but the views were absolutely amazing.
