ReseEkonomen Mattias Varén reste till ön Tobago och besökte ett traditonellt Goat race. Att tävla med getter är en gammal tradition på Tobago. Tävlingsformen sägs ha uppstått när getherdarna tävlade tillbaka till byn efter att ha vallat sina getter ute på betesmarkerna. Andra hävdar att det var engelsmännen på ön som drog igång sporten i brist på galopphästar och vips så var Tobago Goat Race fött.
Traditionen har oavsett levt vidare och ett fåtal gånger per anordnas det spektakulära tävlingar i get-racing på den ändamålsenliga arenan i Buccoo. Välkommen till Bucco Goat Race
