God's Window
God’s Window is, without doubt, a most fitting title for this majestic panoramic view of the South African Lowveld.
It was difficult finding a suitable audio track to accompany the footage, without infringing copyright. The chosen audio is somewhat sombre (no offence to the artist). Nevertheless, the audio track is short and does reflect a slight mystical charm…. Enjoy the video!

God's window+Three Rondavels+Wonderview - Panorama Route
With magnificent views, canyons, rock formations and waterfalls, God's Window is truly an area of breathtaking scenic splendour. It is no wonder that Mpumalanga is known as Paradise Country.
Gods Window is so called for the panoramic view of the Lowveld more than 900 m down into lush indigenous forest clad ravine. The majestic cliffs plunge over 700 meters to the Lowveld and the private game reserves which have made the area one of South Africa's main wildlife destinations. God's Window is a small part of a 250km long earthwork of sheer cliffs and extravagant beauty. One can observe the hills and forests as far as the eye can see. In fact, it seems as if one can see forever!
Exactly as they sound, the Three Rondavels are three round mountain tops with slightly pointed tops, very similar to the traditional round or oval African homesteads made with local materials called rondavels. They are sometimes also called the Three Sisters (although this confuses them with a similar threesome visible from the N1 in the Free State lower down in the country).
Wonder View is the highest viewpoint on the Panorama Route and offers a 180 degree view over the Lowveld. The drop down to the Lowveld from the Panorama Route is approximately 900 m. On a clear day it is possible to see the Kruger National Park and the Lebombo mountain range in the distance.

God's Window: The Panorama Route, Mpumalanga - Mobile Version
In Panorama, Mpumalanga, with its breath-taking vistas around every mountain corner, waterfalls plunging down faces of sheer rock, memories of the gold rush following you as you meander down an endless river canyon, and eagles hovering above your head - you can't help walking with your head in the clouds.

GEOLOGICAL WONDER | Bourke's Luck Potholes, Sabie, Mpumalanga, South Africa Tourism
Bourke's Luck Potholes, were named after prospector Tom Bourke who discovered alluvial gold in the area during the late 1880's.Bourke's Luck Potholes is a magnificent natural attraction located along the Panorama Route, approximately 35 km north of the town of Graskop in Mpumalanga, and approximately a 20 minute drive from God's Window. This natural water feature marks the beginning of the Blyde River Canyon, the greenest and third largest canyon in the world, and has been formed by years and years of swirling whirlpools eroding holes into the bedrock of the Treur River.
Located approximately 35 km north of the town of Graskop, the site has grown in popularity as one of the province's best tourist destinations. The potholes which lie at the confluence of the Treur and Blyde rivers, were formed millions of years ago by the swirling of sand and pebbles, which resulted in the carving of the potholes into the underlying riverbed. Bourke's Luck Potholes also feature an interesting and informative visitors centre, which sheds light on the natural history of the region, as well as providing an introduction to the early inhabitants of the region, the San
