Gwithian beach sits at the end of the long beach at Hayle within St Ives bay Cornwall. The lighthouse seen is Godrevy Lighthouse and you can see the beach is backed by a high sand dune system.

Godrevy Beach
Cornwall and Devon's first Beach Guide video concludes with the beautiful Godrevy Beach. Part of a 4 mile beach, Godrevy is situated on the North Coast of Cornwall near Hayle. This video was filmed out of season in January 2016. The beach is still beautiful at this time of year. It is quiet and the perfect place to watch the sun set over St.Ives.
Facilities on this beach include:
- The beach has a public toilet.
- There are multiple car parking areas.
- It is dog friendly (from November to May).
- There are Resturants and Cafe's at the beach.
- There are national Trust coast paths and parking areas.
- There are seasonal Life Gueards at the beach.
Please note that Godrevy Beach is not easilly accessible as there are steep steps down to it or there are steep rocky enterence ways down to the beach. You can get to the beach via Gwithian Beach however, you would need to cross a stream for this. We do not recommend Godrevy Beach to people with limited mobility. Godrevy beach
This video is of Godrevy beach at Riviere towans, near Phillack, near Hayle, Cornwall, UK. The beach is two miles long and stretches out from near Lelant to Gwithian. It is most famous for it's lighthouse on the island, Godrevy lighthouse, which is half a mile from the mainland. The book 'To the lighthouse' by Virginia Woolf was written about this lighthouse when the author came to Cornwall on her holidays.

Thought i would show you some of the beauty spots near me, this is famous for its Lighthouse
Godrevy, Virginia Woofe wrote a book about it, To the Lighthouse & is also well known for its colony of Seals, which is were we are going too now.
Godrevy Surfers - October 10th 2018
Took the Phantom down the beach on the way back from work to catch the surfers.
A persistent 17mph wind from the SE was quite challenging for drones and surfers alike.
