Cotswolds Drone and iPhone 28th November 2017
Tuesday this week, 28th November 2017 was beautiful - mostly sunny till the late afternoon so I thought i'd go up onto the Cotswolds and take some movies. Only problem is I got stuck in a field and needed a tractor to pull the van out !!
You may ask Where's the snow? Well that is rare nowadays and this was filmed in later November. If we get snow it tends to come in January or February !

Cotswolds, England: Village Charm
More info about travel to the Cotswolds: As with many fairy-tale regions in Europe, the present-day beauty of England's Cotswolds was the result of an economic disaster — in this case, the collapse of the wool industry. The fine Cotswold towns fell into a time warp, creating a rustic charm that is the basis of today's new prosperity from tourism.

????STOW-ON-THE-WOLD & MORETON-IN-MARSH | COTSWOLDS ENGLAND VANLIFE!!????
It's day 3 of our van trip to the Cotswolds in England and we are going to the famous Stow-on-the-Wold!
I think that similarly to Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold is a picturesque village/town in the heart of the Cotswolds and is one of the must see places.
To be honest we walked around in an hour and yes it is lovely and there were plenty of cafes and shops to look around if that's your thing, but at the end of the day it's just a small town, not much else to see lol. We decided to have lunch in the van and then go up the road to a place called Moreton-in-Marsh.
Again, not much going on there either but there is a place called Batsford Arboretum which we believe is a garden centre/garden display or something. It was nearly £20 for us to go in so we decided against going but there was a walk from Moreton-in-Marsh across the fields which was 1.5 miles so we thought that would be nice.
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did then don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe to our channel for more great videos every weekend and quite often during the week too, it's mostly the weekends though just the odd extra thrown in! :)

Boughton Castle, with a walled garden laid out by Gertrude Jekyll, Hidcote Manor, the Arts & Crafts masterpiece which is by far one of Britain’s greatest gardens, the all-organic garden at Snowshill as well as the contemporary gardens at Broughton Grange Estate are just four of the 10 gardens that we visit on this tour and which are sure to leave you with a lasting impression of these two regions of the UK. We return to London from the Cotswolds for the last night of the tour. For those that stay in London just a little longer we offer a complimentary visit to the newly opened Temperate House at Kew Gardens on May 28th, the last day of our tour.

Cotswolds, England Castle Combe, Malmesbury, Bibury, Stow, Slaughter, Bourton, Tetbury
The Cotswold district in south-central England is famous for its green rolling hills and especially for its honey colored stone villages. We’re starting our explorations in perhaps the most beautiful village in all of the Cotswolds and perhaps in all of England or the world for that matter -- it's Castle Combe, a perfect postcard village. Fortunately we've arrived early in the day in the off-season so it seems as if we have this little town all to ourselves we can appreciate the exquisite beauty of this special place without any crowds or distractions.
Lords of the Manor, Cotswolds - Unravel Travel TV
Situated in a timeless corner of the Cotswolds, in the village of Upper Slaughter, the Lords of the Manor is a former rectory of honey-coloured stone, set in eight acres of landscaped gardens and rolling parkland. This is a place to relax, do as much or as little as you like. The hotel has a pair of wellies waiting for you at the door just in case you would like to explore the stunning Cotswold countryside.
The reception rooms of the rectory have been tastefully preserved with a sense of style and character with blazing log fires throughout the winter months and during the summer months, the french windows are thrown open providing exquisite views to the terrace, a perfect setting for alfresco dining.
With no intrusion on the peace and relaxation of your stay, the staff will attend to your every need, the service taking its cue from the idyllic surroundings. This is how a luxury country house hotel should be.
Outside in the eight acres you’ll find yourself in the heart of the most scenic and interesting Cotswold country.

????BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER | COTSWOLDS TRIP ENGLAND VANLIFE!!????
We're going to the famous, Bourton-On-The-Water! This village is supposedly one of the main attractions of the Cotswolds so we are excited to go and explore it.
Bourton-On-The-Water is so-called The Venice of the Cotswolds I guess it's because of a stream running through it with bridges over it. The village itself is an attraction of its own, it's a beautiful setting with lovely English architecture and plenty of gift shops lol too many gift shops. It felt almost like a village in Disneyland, where people don't reside there's just shops and restaurants.
We had lunch in the van with some local produce that we bought, before heading off to our campsite for the night. And what a lovely campsite it is! In the middle of the countryside surrounded by fields and the whole camping pitch to ourselves! I guess we're off season so it's not ever going to be busy lol but its lovely and quiet and looking forward to a peaceful night sleep in the van! :D
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did then don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe to our channel for more great videos every weekend and quite often during the week too, it's mostly the weekends though just the odd extra thrown in! :)
