Shirakawa-Go - It takes approximately 50 minutes to travel from Takayama to Shirakawa-go by highway bus or car.

Gokayama (Japan Trip) / 五箇山の合掌造り集落 (相倉集落)

Wisata Jepang: Rumah kebun terbesar di Gokayama dengan 5 lantai Iwase-ke Suganuma Gifu Jepang Gifu 25 Moopon

Desa Suganuma, salah satu situs wisata utama dari Gokayama, terdiri dari 2 area, Desa Suganuma dan Gokayama Gassho no Sato. Ada terowongan yang menghubungkan dua area dan tempat parkir di bukit yang menghadap ke desa via lift jadi anda bisa siap menjelajah dengan berjalan kaki.

Ada 9 rumah perkebunan gassho-zukuri di Desa Suganuma dan mereka ditunjuk sebagai Situs Warisan Dunia UNESCO bersama dengan Ainokura dan Ogimaschi pada 1995. Rumah kebun disini telah dijaga dengan baik dan pengunjung bisa menjelajah di desa yang indah dan menyenangkan ini. Beberapa dari mereka diubah menjadi restoran, minshuku, dan museum yang memajang kehidupan sehari-hari dan sejarah kertas washi dan industri sendawa yang mendukung wilayah ini.

Gokayama Gassho no Sato memiliki banyak rumah perkebunan tradisional yang telah dipindahkan kesini dengan tujuan melindungi mereka dari kehancuran. Walaupun tidak ada yang tinggal disini, mereka lebih digunakan oleh sekelompok sekolah yang menginap di rumah ini dan merasakan aktvitas dari kehidupan tradisional Gokayama.

Dengan Bus
Suganuma adalah halte disepanjang rute bus antara Shirakawago dan Stasiun Shin-Takaoka di JR Hokuriku Shinkansen. Memakan waktu 30 menit dengan bus untuk 1 kali jalan dari Shirakawago ke Suganuma dan biayanya 860 yen. Dan juga memakan waktu sekitar 80 menit dan biaya 1200 yen (lihat jadwal) dari Stasiun Shin-Takaoka.

Alternatifnya, beberapa bus sepanjang rute bus antara halte Kanazawa dan Shirakawago di Suganuma disepanjang jalan, namun hanya mungkin mengambil bus dari arah Kanazawa dan turun bus di arah Ogimachi, tapi bukan versi sebaliknya (lihat jadwal dan rincian biaya).

Dengan Mobil
Dari Ogimachi, Suganuma bisa diakses sekitar 30 menit sepanjang Rute Nasional 156. Anda bisa menyimpan beberapa jam dengan beberapa menit menaiki Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway antara Shirakawago dan Gokayama IC (570 yen tol ekspres). Dari gokayama IC, Ainokura bisa dicapai dengan 2 menit.

Rumah Iwase-ke
RUmah kebun gassho-zukuri yang terawat baik dan paling terbesar di Gokayama adalah satu dari rumah di wilayah ini. Lantai pertamanya berisi ruangan yang dirancang untuk menghibur pengunjung, sedangkan benda dan peralatan rumah tangga yang digunakan untuk berkebn dan beternak ulat sutra dipajang di ruangan atas yang luas.

In Johana of early-mid April, cherry blossoms bloom in profusion everywhere.

We embarked on a day tour from Takayama. Leading the itinerary is Ainokura historical village in the Gokayama region. Ainokura gassho-zukuri village is known for it's traditional architectural style. Most of the houses here are more than 300 years old. There are residents living here. To be considerate, we kept our volume down when appreciating the architecture and beauty of its location in the alps. Visitors can opt to check out the museums to learn more on the culture as well.

Then, off we go to Shirakawago in Gifu Prefecture. Both of these villages are recognised as World Unesco Heritage sites. How amazing to retain these traditional Japanese villages functional in this day and age.

We were delighted to enjoy a wholesome lunch from resources from Shirakawa-go. Tofu is one of the famous dishes we love.

Do plan ahead on transport needs before the trip. You can get to Shirakawa-go by driving or riding a public bus.

In the coming video, you will see the beauty of Shirakawa-go. It is renowned for it's traditional Japanese farmhouses (gassho). It is such a privilege to tour these houses and get so up close with the residents.
