Fred Elisha: Lead vocal/Backing vocals. Fred was born in Mosul, Dawasa. He immigrated to Australia in 1967. He became a professional Musician, & played with many bands in most parts of Australia. Fred graduated from The University of N.S.W in 1982 with Majors in Industrial Relations and Economics. He worked in the corporate sector for around 15 years. Moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast in 1997, and started his own business. He never gave up Music; in 1973 he was in a band called Kwanza Funk with two of the members of Trust, Scott Phillips and Photi Conditsis.
Melanie Saward: Lead Vocals/Backing vocals. Mel provides an element of soul when leading songs performed by greats of the Soul/Funk/R & B genre....ladies with big voices.... such as Patti La Belle, Randy Crawford and newer artists like pop/soul sensation 'Adele'. Mel has sung in rock bands, dance bands and even church choirs from the age of 14. Her greatest standout feature is her uncanny ability to replicate Michael Jackson songs . You will thoroughly enjoy every minute of this young talents performance.
Photi Conditsis :
Musical Director/Guitar. Photi learnt how to play guitar when he was 16, the first band that did anything was Birth. He played at Whiskey a Go Go, Checkers, Oceanic Hotel in Coogee, Salinas, Top of the Cross, Eltoro Hotel, went on tour with Buffalo, was offered a recording contract with Atlantic Studios. Left Sydney in 1990 to work on the Gold Coast. He has recently played at the Noosa Camp Out Festival, The Surfers Paradise Festival, and has done some recording.
Max Greaves :
Keyboards/Backing vocals. Max has been performing and touring extensively with many bands for over the past 20 years. Max has had a long career in music from the eighties through til now and all with a passion to deliver a quality performance both on keyboards and backing vocals. With a decisive Style and Feel -- Max compliments Trust to deliver a high quality energetic show.
Glenn Cook: Bass
Glenn spent 6 years in the army. He started playing bass in 1992, and has been in several cover and original bands over the years. He is currently studying a Diploma in Jazz Performance at Jazz Music Institute Brisbane. He also plays double bass, and teaches electric bass at the Camira Music Academy.
Glenn has a passion for funk and is a solid driving force in the rhythm section. He's focused and dedicated.
Scott Phillips: (Founder) Drums/Backing Vocals
Scott has played drums since the age of 12. He has been in bands ever since. He toured in the eighties for 15 years, all over Australia with original bands Sweet Poison, Luna Circus, & Kwanza Funk. Scott came to the Gold Coast in 2000 and spent 5 years appearing at The Castle theatre restaurant been in local original bands, Cloud 9, and Future Native, touring Canada and the States. Scott is a consummate performer and with Glenn supplies a solid rhythm section to Trust.

2011 MySchoolAct Australia Competition Trailer
Sunday December 11, Perth band 44th Sunset were crowned winners of MySchoolAct 2011 powered by Motorola. It was an intense and exciting night. The Top 5 Acts in the national competition performed to a packed house and a panel of music industry judges and 44th Sunset proved they've got the goods to take out the coveted prize. The four members of the indie rock band left 'The Lair' at Sydney's Metro Theatre with a giddy feeling of victory and the grand prize of up to $50,000 recording and marketing spend from Sony Music and up to $15,000 from Sony/ATV Publishing.
Lead singer of the indie rock quartet, Nik Thompson was ecstatic and overwhelmed by the response of the crowd and the feedback from the judges. I feel like a unicorn who's just seen a double rainbow, he said.
In addition to this announcement, MySchoolAct and Big Day Out sponsor Motorola also announced the winners who will perform at the Big Day Out 2012 in their local market. The winners will share the stage with a stellar line up of international talent including Soundgarden, Foster the People and Noel Gallagher.

MySchoolAct judge and CEO of Big Day Out, Adam Zammit was proud to add these bands to the line up for 2012 and for 44th sunset, it was a double victory. Tonight we were looking for something unique and 44th Sunset had something a little bit special about them, Zammit said.
The five grand finalist Acts were selected from across Australia and transported to Sydney on Saturday 10th December to participate in a workshop hosted by SAE & Qantm College. The weekend commenced with a jam session in the MySchoolAct warehouse followed by a series of educational sessions run by some of Australia's top music professionals including; Julian Hewitt from Media Arts Lawyers (represents Missy Higgins, Pete Murray, Tame Impala, Operator Please) Adam Zammit, CEO of Peer Group Media and marketing guru Shae Constantine from Sony Music.
The following day, the Acts had their first insight into the life of a touring musician, sound checking and waiting patiently in the green room for their media interviews with full hair, make-up treatment and 'parental approved' rider of sandwiches and lemonade. 200 invited guests flooded into the Metro theatre from 6pm and each Act performed two original songs to a panel of music industry experts. The Acts were judged on their ability to engage with the crowd, their musicality, synchronicity and originality of the material.
Judge Glen Matthews- COO and co-founder of MySchoolAct; The front man for 44th Sunset was unique, he was engaging with the audience and he lifted the crowd to a new height with his performance, he said.
500 talented high school Acts have worked tirelessly for months, writing, recording, self-promoting and performing in the hope of capturing the attention of the 39,394 passionate music fans who registered their support at myschoolact.com. Glenn Matthews was excited by the response to the competition; each year MySchoolAct just gets better and better, and 2012 will be no exception, he said.

The Drumley Walk & Yugambeh Corroboree 2009
The Drumley Walk is annual 4 day walk pilgramage from Beaudesert, south of Brisbane, to Southport on the Gold Coast.
It follows the footstep of Beadesert identity Billy Drumley who regularly completes the journey during the early 1900s, to visit his sister Jenny Graham who lived at southport with her many children.
Althought he passed away more than 50 years ago, Billy Drumley is remembered with admiration throughout the region.
His community still regard him as a local hero.
This walk is done to keep the stpries of his life and times alive.
