Donkey Islands - Drenia Δρένια - part of Ammouliani, Chalkidiki, Greece

The locals call this area donkey islands and it’s a gathering of small islands just under a mile
off the coast of Ouranoupolis, a village situated on the coastline in the northwest part of the Athos peninsula,
part of the bigger Chalkidiki peninsula. These islets have many beautiful beaches to show us despite their tiny size.
You may go there by renting a boat from Ouranoupolis. No license is needed. This place is an idyllic combination
of fine, golden sand, aquamarine sea, vegetation and rocks. Its isolated bays are the ideal destination for those
that desire peace and relaxation, while you can get involved in all sorts of water sports at its sandy beaches.
