ROYAL THAI MASSAGE (DUMAGUETE)
It's my first time to visit Royal Thai Massage, i didn't expect people who work's there knows how to massage, unlike other massage center, they will force to massage you harder than you cannot feel relax but pain. But the person massage me, she knows which part on your body that needs to press more to release pain. without forcing you.

Wat Pho | Amazing Thailand Part 2 | Songkran Festival 2017 | Bangkok
Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is located behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and a must-do for any first-time visitor in Bangkok. It's one of the largest temple complexes in the city and famed for its giant reclining Buddha that measures 46 metres long and is covered in gold leaf. It’s an easy ten minute walk between here and the Grand Palace, and we recommend coming to Wat Pho second, because even though the golden Buddha here is just as popular many people don’t take the time to wander around the rest of the complex so the experience tends to be far more relaxing. This is also a great place to get a traditional Thai massage. Wat Pho is often considered the leading school of massage in Thailand, so you really are in good hands here. Since December 2012, entrance to the temple costs 100 baht and you can visit any time between 08:00 and 17:00.
Songkran is the Thai New Year's festival. The Thai New Year's Day is 13 April every year, but the holiday period includes 14–15 April as well. The word Songkran comes from the Sanskrit word saṃkranti , literally astrological passage, meaning transformation or change. The term was borrowed from Makar Sankranti, the name of a Hindu harvest festival celebrated in India in January to mark the arrival of spring. It coincides with the rising of Aries on the astrological chart and with the New Year of many calendars of South and Southeast Asia, in keeping with the Buddhist/Hindu solar calendar.

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.
Thailand, Bangkok: A Walk around Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha)
The highlight for most people visiting Wat Pho is the Reclining Buddha. The figures here are impressive: 15 metres tall, 46 metres long, so large it feels like it has been squeezed into the building. The Buddha's feet are 5 metres long and exquisitely decorated in mother-of-pearl illustrations of auspicious 'laksanas' (characteristics) of the Buddha. 108 is a significant number, referring to the 108 positive actions and symbols that helped lead Buddha to perfection. You’ll need to take your shoes off to enter, and if you would like a little good luck, we recommend purchasing a bowl of coins at the entrance of the hall which you can drop in the 108 bronze bowls which line the length of the walls. Dropping the small pennies in makes a nice ringing sound and even if your wishes don’t come true, the money goes towards helping the monks renovate and preserve Wat Pho. As this is a revered image, all visitors must wear appropriate clothing; this means no exposed shoulders or skin above the knee.
As we said before, it really is worth taking a look round the rest of the temple. Wat Pho also has good English speaking guides who will provide interesting information for around 200 - 400 baht, depending on how many people there are in your group and how good your negotiating skills are. If you prefer, you can wander alone. Recommend sites include four chapels that contain 394 gilded Buddha images, long lines of golden statues from different parts of Thailand sitting in the lotus position. Although the intricately detailed murals that cover the walkways around Wat Pho will require a book or guide to decipher, the exquisite murals are so detailed and intricate that even if you don’t understand all the imagery you can still appreciate the artwork. Finally in the courtyards at Wat Pho Temple are some comical looking Chinese statutes that were once uses as ballasts on ships and 91 chedis (or stupas) decorated in ceramic pottery flowers and colourful tiles.
Wat Pho was the first public university in Thailand, specialising in religion, science and literature. It is now more well-known as a centre for traditional massage and medicine. After a walk around the temple there is nothing quite like a relaxing foot or head and shoulder massage. If you've never tried a traditional Thai massage, Wat Pho is a good place to experience this popular leisure activity. It's quite different to most other forms of therapeutic massage and tends to be invigorating rather than relaxing, incorporating yoga style postures to relieve stress and improve blood circulation. This is a very popular activity at Wat Pho temple, so we recommend you pop in before your treatment to book a spot, or you might end up with a long wait.

Gracie and I took a quick walk across Sukhumvit to a new little spa. With the newness also came a great price on massages, about 50% off. We have had Thai massages as well as foot massages. Both were excellent so I wanted to make sure I gave them some kudos in YouTube. If you are ever around the Thong Lo BTS Skytrain stop or near Thong Lor Soi and Sukhumvit, we can highly recommend these folks. Great great and warm hands.
Enjoy!
3 BEST TEMPLES IN BANGKOK THAILAND - Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Grand Palace
We were on a mission to visit the 3 best temples in Bangkok Thailand and we found them! Taking the Chao Phraya Express Boat is an easy way to visit both Wat Arun and Wat Pho which are two of the most beautiful Thailand Temples in the entire country!
One of the most popular Bangkok tourist places, the Grand Palace was a little more difficult to find. We didn’t end up making it in time to enter. We decided to come back the next day and we were finally able to explore the Grand Palace Thailand. We were shocked at how many other people were exploring it too! The Grand Palace was filled with the most tourists we have ever seen.
Our favorite Bangkok Temple was hands down Wat Arun Temple, otherwise known as the Temple of the Dawn. It is one of the only temples in Bangkok left that you can climb on. We got lucky while visiting Wat Arun because there weren’t that many tourists there.
A quick boat ride across the Chao Phraya River led us to another Buddhist Temple, Wat Pho or Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The Reclining Buddha is one of the most iconic figures in all of Bangkok Thailand and we were happy to see it. Wat Pho was pretty busy with tourists, but it was an incredible experience to finally see the Reclining Buddha.
In our opinion, the 3 Best Temples in Bangkok Thailand are:
1. Wat Arun - Temple of the Dawn (100 Baht entrance fee)
2. Grand Palace - (500 Baht entrance fee) Incredibly impressive, although expensive and too many tourists
3. Wat Pho - Temple of the Reclining Buddha (100 Baht entrance fee)

Our stay at the luxurious Amari Watergate Hotel located in Bangkok Thailand
In hopes of celebrating Audrey's 26th birthday in style, we checked into the luxurious Amari Watergate Hotel located in the heart of downtown Bangkok, Thailand. We were very fortunate to have met contacts from the Amari Watergate Hotel during the Digital Innovation Asia Conference (DIA) we attended in early June. When they expressed interest in working with us, we weren't certain at the time when we'd be back in Bangkok. When our Finland trip manifested itself several weeks ago it was the perfect opportunity to head back to Bangkok, as our Turkish Airways flight departs from Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Our exit out of Thailand and holiday in Europe just happened to coincide with Audrey's 26th birthday. Thus, a stay at the Amari Watergate Hotel, nearby all of the major shopping malls in Bangkok, was a serendipitous opportunity we didn't want to pass up.
As we checked into our room we were greeted with smiles and helping hands (in the form of having our baggage carried) from our gracious hosts. Although we arrived early, they had our room ready for us in less than an hour.
The room itself was smart with a comfortable working space, comfy couch and large flat screen television.
The bed was equipped with several different types of pillows. One of the coolest options was the opportunity to custom order a 'special' pillow; options included the Cervicalopedic pillow, the Contour massage pillow and the Buckwheat pillow. Naturally we went with the Buckwheat pillow which was 100% natural providing special support to our head, neck and shoulders.
In the afternoon, we felt like exercising, so we headed down to the eight floor to check out the facilities. Immediately, we were impressed by the spacious swimming pool, lounge area, sauna room and massive state of the art gym. We ended up taking a dip in the pool followed by a relaxing session in the sauna.
Breakfast at the Amari is a buffet fit for kings and queens. With an International selection encompassing European, Middle Eastern and Asian options, I personally couldn't get enough hummus, Indian chapatis and bacon saturated in pure maple syrup. The diversity in the menu was impressive. I went back for more plates of food than I'd like to admit considering I'm supposedly on a diet ;)
The hotel certainly lived up to expectations (and then some) allowing us to relax in Bangkok while celebrating Audrey's birthday in a classy environment. We certainly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others as a great option when traveling in Bangkok.
