“Air Terjun Emas terletak tepat di samping jalan di ShueiNanDong. Orang bisa melihat air mengalir keluar dari bawah tanah. Setelah meresap melalui area penambangan dan bersentuhan dengan sulfur, arsen, dan bijih tembaga, sintesis redoks dan besi mengubah air menjadi air mineral asam emas dengan warna oranye. Dilihat dari kejauhan itu tampak seperti dinding raksasa tebing batu emas, yang dikenal sebagai Air Terjun Emas oleh generasi selanjutnya untuk tontonan ini.
Air Terjun Emas adalah salah satu tempat yang harus dikunjungi di Jingguashi. Air terjun tanpa henti yang terbentuk secara alami menakjubkan, dan khususnya luar biasa setelah air yang melimpah dibawa oleh hujan deras.

黃金瀑布位置就在往水湳洞的公路邊,可看到流水從地下伏流湧出,滲入礦區後,與黃鐵礦和硫砷銅礦接觸,經過「氧化還原」與「鐵菌催化」使瀑布水呈現金黃偏橘色的酸礦水,遠看猶如一幅巨型的黃金岩壁,此等奇觀被後人美其名為「黃金瀑布」.

DECEMBER 17, 2016—Our first day tour in Taiwan brought us to an old and now defunct mining site in Jiufen, New Taipei City, about an hour's drive from Taipei. We passed by this beautiful curtain waterfall with a unique golden color. Truth is, the golden color of the rocks is actually from the mine tailings when the gold and copper mine in the area was still operational. Luckily the stain from mine tailings resulted to the beautiful golden effect, thus, the waterfall's name.

Dari Ruifang naik bis no 856.
Halte bis nya bukan yg tepat di depan Stasion Ruifang ya gesss....
Tapi kluar dari Stasion Ruifang belok kiri, jalan 10 menit an.
Nachhh disitulah halte bis menuju Gold Waterfall dan turunya pas di depan halte bis Gold Waterfall.

Golden Waterfall is located near the Gold Ecological Park (黃金博物園區) in Jinguashi. Although real gold flowing from these falls would be too good to be true, the water is certainly a beautiful gold color as a result of the combination of regular rainfall in this mining area and the abundance of heavy metal elements deposited in the riverbed.

金瓜石位於台灣新北市瑞芳區，其歷史悠久,以黃鐵礦和銅礦著稱。 日本稱為Kinkaseki，在日本統治期間屬Taihoku縣。二戰大戰最後幾年 即 1942年到1945年，日軍曾經用它作為戰俘營。
儘管金瓜石的礦物已耗盡, 仍然吸引大批遊客前來參觀。2002年被評為潛在的世界遺產。其黃金博物館園區落成于2004年10月。
Jinguashi (Chinkuashih; Chinese: 金瓜石;) is a town in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, notable for its historic iron and copper mines. It is also known as Kinkaseki in Japanese and was under Taihoku Prefecture during Japanese rule. From 1942–1945, during the final years of World War II, it was used by the Japanese as a prisoner-of-war camp.
Although the minerals have since been depleted, the town still attracts many visitors to its Gold Museum Park, which opened in October 2004. Jinguashi was named a potential World Heritage site in 2002.

黃金瀑布在九份老街山下， 行程約10分鐘。
瀑布是金瓜石地區大量雨水，通過岩石和裂縫滲透，形成觀光美景。由於古老的金瓜石礦山，它的銅金礦床是黃色的,最終瀑布周圍的岩石都變成金黃色。但水是有毒的。
The Golden Waterfall is about 10 minutes walk down the mountain of Jiufen Old Street.
The waterfall is formed naturally through Jinguashi substantial rainfall, which seeps through the rocks and cracks and eventually forming a scenic view. It is yellow hue due to the copper and gold deposits as it comes through the old Jinhuashi mines. But the water is toxic.

The “Golden Waterfall is located right beside the road at ShueiNanDong. One can see water gushing out from underground. After seeping through mining areas and contacting with sulfur, arsenic and copper ores, the redox and iron synthesis transformed the water into a golden acidic mineral water with a tint of orange. Seen from afar it looks like a gigantic wall of golden rock cliff, reputed as the “Golden Waterfall” by later generations for the spectacle.
