Just a short walk from the sea and the fun of the well-known bathing resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro, between the estuary of the Tagliamento and the lovely Marano lagoon, lies Lignano Golf Club. The eighteen-hole course (par 72) has been landscaped in a highly original manner across 70 hectares of lush vegetation and is sure to provide thrills for players of every standard.
The course features particularly long fairways, large greens (defended by water hazards) and extensive roughs with naturally occurring sand (Arizona), all elegantly set among pools of water and luxuriant pinewoods, ensuring there is never a dull moment.
There are several interesting and unusual holes. The long par 5 hole, such as no. 11 and two long par 4 holes such as no. 3. Among the most appealing is hole no. 8, a par 4 left dog-leg, surrounded by a lake where the first stroke requires the use of a precision club before going on to the green. Alongside these very interesting holes, there is as well a large driving range stretching more than 250 metres, with indoor and outdoor tees to play throughout the year.
After your round, you can relax in the elegant clubhouse, which houses the secretary’s office, a renowned restaurant and pro-shop, as well as a conference hall and a terrace with a splendid view on the course.
The club also provides the Hotel Golf Inn with 26 charming rooms facing onto the greens and a wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath and gym. Restaurant, pro-shop, hotel and beauty center are open to the public.

Im Clubgästehaus Golf Inn, einem Hotel, das auch Nichtgolfern offensteht, gibt es 26 elegante Zimmer, die auf den Platz gehen, während das Wellnesszentrum mit Sauna, türkischem Bad und Fitnessraum auch den Begleitpersonen der Golfer zur Verfügung steht.
