On a sunny slope just above the town of Kitzbühel, as if on a throne of green, you will find Eichenheim Golf Course.
The course climbs up the mountain from the valley below over lush meadows in tiers. Right up to a level where you have a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The American designer Kyle Phillips displayed sensitivity when he laid the at times alpine paths, in the heavily undulating terrain. Eichenheim Golf Course was only opened in 2000, and from the beginning has already catapulted itself to one of the countrys top courses and the region has gained an added attraction.

Aufbruch in neue Zeiten. 50 Jahre nach der Clubgründung wurde der Golfplatz am Kapser Schlossgelände 2006 wiedereröffnet. Die wunderschöne Lage auf der Sonnenseite Kitzbühels und die herausragenden sportlichen Erfolge haben Platz und Verein zu einem der bekanntesten Clubs Österreichs gemacht. Das Grand SPA Resort A-ROSA ergänzt die neue Pracht des Golfplatzes, der vom querenden Verkehr befreit wurde. Wasser und der Baumbestand wurden golftechnisch exzellent inszeniert. Das Resort, das Clubhaus, die Seen mit zwei Inselgrüns und die alte Schlossmauer sind ein atemberaubendes Ganzes mit PGA-Qualität geworden. Das Restaurant im Golfhaus lädt ganzjährig zu Deftigem und Delikatessen sowie zu Klassikern und Kleinigkeiten mit offenen Weinen.
A new dawn: 50 years after the club was founded, the golf course was reopened on the Kapser Castle grounds in 2006. It has now become one of the most famous clubs in Austria, mainly due to the outstanding sporting success of the club and its stunning location on the sunny side of Kitzbühel. The Grand Spa Resort A-ROSA has added a touch of splendour to the golf course, which is now free of traffic, and water and trees have been beautifully integrated into design of the course. The resort, the clubhouse, the ponds with two island greens and the old castle walls have become a part of the PGA quality experience. The restaurant in the Golf house invites you year-round to try substantial foods and delicacies, along with classic dishes and tidbits with lovely wines ...

Los gehts mit einem 490 Meter langen, sehr selektiven Eröffnungsloch. Anschließend folgt das schwierigste Loch des Platzes: PAR 4, 414 Meter. Einzigartig: das PAR 3 Nummer 16, die „Mausefalle, das über eine kleine Schlucht zu spielen ist. Wenn Sie bei Ankunft beim Clubhaus einen Spieler vom Loch 20 reden hören, wundern Sie sich nicht. Insider meinen damit den nahe gelegenen Schwarzsee, wo man sich herrlich erfrischen und sonnenbaden kann.
Prepare yourself for an exciting and totally rewarding course: A unique panorama and fairways will make every golfers heart race with excitement. In 2003, the Golf European Challenge Tour was held at Golfclub Schwarzsee for the first time. Start your game with a 490 m long, very selective opening hole.
This is followed by the most difficult hole of the course: PAR 4, 414 m. Unique challenge: PAR 3, number 16, the mousetrap, which is played over a small ravine. On your return to the clubhouse, dont be surprised if you hear fellow golfers talking about the 20th hole.
