What to do in Puerto Jimenez, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica
Puerto Jimenez, a small town located on Osa Peninsula, in the South Pacific tip of Costa Rica, serves as the main gateway to Corcovado National Park, the primary attraction of the region. While most people visit Osa Peninsula for the sole purpose of trekking in Corcovado, the town itself and the area surrounding it offers much more to those willing to hang around for a few extra days.
In this Episode, we share the highlights of our stay in Puerto Jimenez, including an amazing kayaking adventure on Golfo Dulce with Aventura Tropicales, a night tour with Ficus Tours and some awesome drone footage of the secluded Playa Platanares.

En esta ocasion tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de Playa Colibri y de Golfo Dulce con todos sus encantos y definitivamente vamos a regresar. Es dificil escoger una atraccion favorita en esta zona. Actividades off-road, avistamiento de delfines y ballenas, hacer kayak, ver disfrutar de las aves y el resto de vida salvaje o simplemente sentarse a ver los mejores atardeceres son algunas de las muchas aventuras que se pueden disfrutar en esta zona. Ubicada muy cerca del parque nacional corcovado, del centro de Puerto Jiménez y de otros lugares ideales para entrar en contacto con la naturaleza, Playa Colibrí te esta esperando.

This time we had the opportunity to enjoy Playa Colibri and Golfo Dulce with all its charms and we will definitely return. It is difficult to choose a favorite attraction in this area. Off-road activities, dolphin and whale watching, kayaking, watching the birds and the rest of wildlife enjoy or just sitting down to see the best sunsets are some of the many adventures that can be enjoyed in this area. Located very close to the Corcovado National Park, the center of Puerto Jiménez and other ideal places to get in touch with nature, Playa Colibrí is waiting for you.
