This is a montage of Nikos and mine's 10 day vacation trip at Palaikastro, a small village in Crete, close to surf beach Kouremenos!
Through our days we windsurfed, bicycled, climbed mountains, visited beautiful and clean crysta blue water beaches and enjoyed local food and hospitality. We stayed in the House Margot hotel which was very nice and higly recommended.

Ένα τριήμερο που θα μείνει βαθιά χαραγμένο στην μνήμη όσων συμμετείχαν αλλά και όσων το έζησαν από την παραλία, ήταν αυτό που πέρασε στον Κουρεμένο του Παλαίκαστρου στον Δήμο Σητείας για το 3o race του Hellenic slalom Tour 2017. Επικές μάχες στις 5 συνολικά κούρσες του Slalom και στις 7 του Freeride, πολλές παράπλευρες εκδηλώσεις, συναυλία με τους ImamBaildi και ένας τόπος που διδάσκει πάνω από όλα την φιλοξενία. Windsurfing and SPEED LOOP at Kouremenos beach, Crete
Kouremenos is a beach at the East end of the Mediterranean island of Crete. In Summer it offers plenty of wind for windsurfing! The place is very calm and quiet, free from mass tourism, but the wind is pretty strong and challenging. Typically my choice here is a 4.0-4.2 sail, and some really windy days I have to drop below. It’s always a pleasure to be in touch with crystal clear waters of Aegean sea, and here you can combine it with surfing the wind. Gone Surfing Center has the equipment and the atmosphere to match all these great conditions. Friendly team, nicely serviced equipment, which is always up to date! Duotone Super Hero MPlus 2020 is already there (and on the video). The nearby village of Palaikastro is sure to offer a cosy place to settle!
