Finally got to see this place on our The Beautiful Sindh Travel series. This is one of the most fun vlog of the series so far. They say Gorakh Hill station is Murree of SIndh. I say, It's completely unique for what it is and where it is. The best part is Sunset and Sunrise both at Gorakh Hill. The amazing sunset at Zero Point and Sunset on the lower hill is simply worth it.

Bonfire, camping, music, live streaming of cricket match on projector, restaurant, guests houses and what not. All the facilities are available at Gorakh Hill.

Gorakh Hill

Gorakh is a Hill Station of Sindh, Pakistan. It is situated at an elevation of 5,689 ft (1,734 m) in the Kirthar Mountains, 94 kilometres (58 mi) northwest of Dadu city.
The Gorakh Hill station is situated 423 km from Karachi and nearly 8 hours driving distance. The Hill station attracts thousands of tourists each year.
The name Gorakh is derived from the Brahvi language in which, word Gurgh means Wolf and that Balochi language word Gurkh is later dialectic adaptation of Brahvi language word Gurgh, meaning wolf.
Different opinions have been given about the history and origin of the hill station. It is said that the great medieval saint, Sri Gorakhnath Ji, had extensively wandered in hills and the region. According to Nandu, an authority on Sanskrit, Gorakh is a Sanskrit word which means shepherding of sheep, cow and goat, etc.
Gorakh Hill Station is situated on one of the highest plateaus of Sindh, spread over 2,500 acres (10 km2) of land.
It is very attractive to nature-lovers owing to its temperate weather and beautiful surroundings.
Gorakh's elevation gives it a special climate, with sub-zero temperatures during winter and generally below 20 °C in summer, with about 120 mm of average annual rainfall.
The Government of Sindh is in the process of constructing a new road from Dadu to Gorakh Hill.
There is a rest house for visitors on the hill, which is a very basic one and there is a restuarant providing meals from morning until mid night.
Tourists can arrange their own transport from Sehwan Sharif to the hill station, a 4x4 is
recommended, which can be arranged from Wahi Pandi, the last town before the hills.

At a distance of about 380 Km from the Karachi city in Sindh , Pakistan
Drive of about 6 to 7 hours from Karachi city
You have to reach Wahi Pandi station by yourself or any tour group. Then from there book a jeep for around 4000 depending on bargaining
The jeep track is of about 1 hour 30 minutes from Wahi Pandi station
Visit and enjoy if you wanna visit but I won't recommend to those who have visited the Pakistani northern areas , Switzerland or places like these

Gorakh is 97 km away from Dadu and is as popular in Sindh as Murree. It’s reasonably well developed and very secure place with cool climate which is no less than blessing in scorching heat of Summers in Sindh. It’s 423 km from Karachi and 267 km from Hyderabad.

Gorakh Hills is located in Sindh and it is coolest place of sindh, in winter season snow can be sighted in this area. this place is also called as Murree of Sindh.

Gorakh Hill Station has about 5800 ft of height and 80 Km from Dadu Sindh Pakistan
You can See in this Video that Clouds are Lower Than Gorakh Hill Top and it's easy to go there even on motorbike like CD70 It take about one and half hour journey from Dadu to reach there commonly you will travel on a matelled road except khawar lak and still work is going on to make khawar Lak easy to cross.

It is situated at an elevation of 5,688 ft (1,734 m). in the Kirthar Mountains Range's Sindh Segment, 93 km north west of Dadu city. Gorakh Hill Station is situated on one of the highest plateaus of Sindh, spread over 2,500 acres (10 km2), and due its surroundings, a unique adventure point for nature lovers.

Gorakh Plateau also serves as gateway for the villagers of Khuzdar District, Balochistan, who come over to the village, Wahi Pandi, in Sindh's segment of Kirthar, about a third way downhill from Gorakh Hill Station
