15466 The Gore Rd, Caledon Ontario, Canada L7C3E5The approach to Stonebridge is straight out of the pages of Golf Magazine. A French influenced estate stone residence, designed for family and business entertaining, with the feel of an elegant country club. Manicured lawns and rolling hills. Fountains in ponds fed from the upper spring-fed lake. 52 acres of majesty. Golf tee at the highest point of the land to practice your game. Best of all is the swimming pond with its groomed beach area and world class “cabana” entertaining pavilion. Discretely hidden behind the controlled gates, one enters and moves along the meandering driveway. Nature abounds. Rabbit, deer, and birds. Soaring trees with woodlands in the distance. A “Toronto Muskoka lifestyle”: kilometres of hiking / walking groomed trails to contemplate the day. Stonebridge was created to offer tremendous privacy. Guests stay in either of the fully self-contained coach house or cabana. The coach house flat, above the triple car garage, is accessible from the main residence via the underground tunnel. It feels like a hotel suite of a Relais et Chateau property. The Cabana pavilion is beyond extraordinary – multi-storied with a wall of windows overlooking the swimming pond. The main residence was designed exclusively to house the family. Recently renovated, it features a beautiful stone walled turret staircase, reminiscent of a great estate in France. Warm wood floors and plenty of natural light. Host lavish parties in the family / billiards room, with its own fireplace and bar, or relax outside on the patio overlooking the koi pond. The views are soothing and sublime. Wind down after a workout in the home gym in adjoining orangerie greenhouse. Reminiscent of the sophisticated conservatories of the Victorian age, this orangerie makes a grand statement and would be the ideal spot to host a high tea party. The Cabana lake house pavilion sits on the soft white sand beach shores of your very own clay-lined crystal-clear filtered deep swimming pond and can serve as a guest house or office. With its own wood burning fireplace, kitchenette, and loft bedroom, the Cabana is the perfect place to host a cocktail party, host a business meeting, or enjoy a day on the water. A unique and spacious property, Stonebridge Estate is ideal as a large country estate, corporate retreat for your business, or event space for family weddings: The Lifestyle:The Stonebridge estate is located less than 30 kms (20 miles) from Pearson International Airport and approximately 50 kms (30 miles) from exciting downtown Toronto, on the shores of Lake Ontario. The surrounding Caledon region offers a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and golf and is known for its natural beauty and spectacular scenery. If you want to experience big city life, spend a day in Toronto. You can explore the many museums and galleries, do some shopping, or eat at one of the many outstanding restaurants in the city. When the sun goes down, enjoy the lively music scene and experience the Toronto nightlife for yourself! Four Points:• French-style country estate with 25-ac of manicured lawns• Private and secured property with 3 individual entrances• Multiple venues provide ample space for hosting• Unique property with water features and swimming pondFeatures: Both deeded properties together: 52.49 acres; 15466 The Gore Road (10.02 acres) and 15430 The Gore Road (42.47 acres)

The Coastal Pacific was five mins late and on our way home from our holiday in Gore Bay I ask my Grandma to follow the Coastal home scince its heading the same way as us. She kinda agreed but went with it anyway. We got to Domett and waited a while we waited I asked could we chase it back to Kaiapoi or something and she said NO!. The only reason we stopped in Waipara is because i nagged at her to let me see it again and we did and that was that.

About the Artist:
Thirty-four years ago, American born Canadian, Lynne Gerard, embraced her love of painting, poetry and calligraphy as a full time career. As a free-lance artist, in the early years, Lynne’s work was published internationally in the form of greeting cards and gift books by the C.R. Gibson Company and the Marian Heath Greeting Card Company. Lynne was also a popular figure in travelling art fair circuits.
After immigrating to Canada in 2005, Lynne opened up her Ravenseyrie Studio & Art Gallery in the Gore Bay Harbour Centre the following year, where she now self-publishes her fine art greeting cards in-house and offers her original paintings and rock art for sale.
Lynne’s creative output is heavily under the influence of such diverse sources as prehistoric cave paintings, master watercolourists John Singer Sargent and Alvaro Castagnet and more recently the abstract expressionist sumi-e of 104 year old Japanese painter/poet/calligrapher, Toko Shinoda. At the heart of Lynne’s painting and writing is Nature herself and one’s spiritual interconnectedness with all that is.
With an eclectically appointed studio and the amazing ambience of Lake Huron’s North Channel out her door, Lynne’s Ravenseyrie Studio and Art Gallery is not just a tourist destination but an inspiring creative experience. Come see for yourself! - Ravenseyrie Studio and Art Gallery is open year ‘round. Buisness hours for July and August are Tuesdays thru Sundays 10am to 4pm. Off season hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am to 4pm.
