Grampians 2017
A day out rock climbing with Tori from Grampians Mountains Adventure Company.
Morgan did her first abseil from the big cliff and Libby did much better on the climbs.
Thanks to Tori for a great day out.
(sorry for the crappy camera work)

Not so sure about the name of these boulder problems.
If anyone know (besides that V8), please advise!

Showcasing the great variety of rock in the Grampians, including some gems from the Halls Gap area.
This area was where I enjoyed climbing the most, as the moderates were as good in quality as the harder things. Korean Jesus (V5), shown at the end, was one of my favourite problems from time spent in Australia.

Hello Melbourne Victoria Grampians Pt1
Welcome to the Hello Melbourne Victoria series where we will be looking at capturing different places we venture to around Melbourne & Victoria.
In this video we take a trip to Grampians in Victoria. Grampians is a 3 hour drive from Melbourne, Victoria. A few of the things to do here would be sight seeing, camping and 4 wheel driving (4WD).
We did some light 4wd on Goat Track and camped at Buandik as well as checked out Mackenzie falls (Footage in next video).
As this is a national park, there are some camping fees/permit that you require to stay at the camping grounds which you will be required to book in advance which can be done so online through -
Hope you enjoy this little intro video to Grampians.
Stay tuned for part 2.
Until the next adventure :)

Grampians Fishing Pt 1
Had to re upload because I made the last part too long. This is of Crispy and I fishing the Grampians.
We fished Fyans Creek, McKenzie Creek and Lake Bellfield for one trout and a couple of redfin. I dropped a really good rainbow -- would have gone 8lb plus I think at Bellfield.
Most of the area is still in recovery after the bushfires their two years ago, so it was no surprise that we only saw small sized trout in the streams.
Despite only catching a few fish I'd definitely do it again!
Songs are by Andy McKee and Jackson Firebird, I in no way own them.
This video was not made for profit in any way.
The Grampians
The Grampians (Gariwerd) are an ancient sandstone mountain range where you can experience amazing views from the mountain top, some beautiful waterfalls or rock climb and walk amongst Australian bushland.
Aboriginals inhabited the region for up to 32,000 years and that up to 70% of Indigenous rock art in Victoria is in this region with well over 100 sites identified. 4 are promoted to tourists
Mount Solitary in the Blue Mountains National Park, Australia

Mina Leslie-Wujastyk in the Valley of the Giants
Featuring two of the best problems for the grade in the Grampians, Valley of the Giants is a great place to explore and has the feel of somewhere that time forgot. Big rounded features and rock with a texture somewhere between sandstone and gritstone makes for aesthetically pleasing problems and subtle, intricate movement.

Mount Difficult & Briggs Bluff
Follow all of my adventures on instagram! @jayden_ordner
23.3 Kilometer hike covering almost the entire Mount Difficult Range in the Grampians National Park, Western Victoria, Australia.
We ended up hitting 25 kilometres, as the trail disappears a few kilometres into the route. I wouldn't recommend this hike. I would recommend the Briggs Bluff hike leaving from Beehive Falls. It's safer, well marked and more accessible. Unless you like the thrill of a demanding, steep, long, full day adventure.
Thanks to the adventurous team at Tuxy.
And also the happy adventurers at Honeybear Co!
