See the best of the vibrant Grand Bahama Island on this adventurous jeep tour. A short bus ride from the pier will take you to your waiting jeep. Your adventure begins as you hop into your jeep and drive off, on the left side of the road, following British tradition. Enjoy a narrated tour of the city highlights with stops at points of interest; all this while learning about the island’s history, original Indian inhabitants and the early settlers. Visit the beautiful Garden of the Groves where you'll relax under a huge fig tree overlooking the waterfalls while enjoying lunch. Stroll through the lovely gardens, browse boutique shops featuring locally made arts and crafts and see artisans create native straw work. Your journey continues to one of Grand Bahama’s finest beach clubs where you can take a dip in the crystal clear water. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Guests wishing to drive must be at least 25 years of age and present a valid driver's license. Four guests per jeep; jeeps have manual or automatic transmission. Swimsuit, towel, camera, sunscreen, and strap sandals or closed toe comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Jeep will travel on unpaved roads at times and the ride will be bumpy. This excursion is not recommended for pregnant women or guests with back/neck injuries. Guests must sign a waiver release form.

Dive 1 Tunnels - Grand Bahama
The first dive of our Branch 5 holiday to the Bahamas. This was a relaxing reef dive with tunnels you can swim through, Oh yes and the odd shark as well. Merseyside Branch 5 of the British Sub Aqua Club are a long established and well equipped diving club, with their clubhouse based on the Wirral. As well as diving locally in Liverpool Bay and around the North Wales coast, we run trips to other locations around the UK and abroad, as well as providing training up to and including Advanced Diver as well as numerous skill development courses.

We dove on three shipwrecks : Theo's wreck (depth 100 ft), Sea Star wreck (depth 100 ft) and the Papa Doc wreck (depth 45 ft).
Shot with a GoPro 7 Black and a BigBlue VL 15000 Pro video light.
My favorite is definitely the Sea Star wreck with too many groupers, blue parrot fish and blue striped grunt fish to count!
The Bahamas are definitely a great spot for wreck diving with more than 40 wrecks to discover and enjoy.
Unfortunately, after the Hurricane Matthew in 2016, Theo's wreck has been torn apart and is now considered unstable.

Diving at Shark Junction, Grand Bahama Island with Nick Rolle of Sunn Oddyssey Divers.
3 reef sharks circled the divesite and a nurse shark was hiding under a rock.
Other animals spotted: barracudas, many yellowtail snappers, various other species.

Theo's Wreck Grand Bahamas, Freeport scuba diving with UNEXSO
This was the deepest dive of the trip. 104 feet down, the wreck is 230 ft long, sunk in 1982.

Ep. 02 - Freeport, Bahamas - Owl's Hole
Location: 26.587851, -78.469394
Owl's Hole is located in Freeport, Bahamas and is a essentially a caved in section of ground. This was basically created when water eroded the limestone to the point where the roof caved in on the hole created below ground. Looking in (and I forgot to get footage of below the water) you'll see a pile of rock in the center that is about 10ft from the top of the water. It's 24 feet from the where you jump in, so if you ever go there, don't jump out to the middle where the rock is piled up.
