Gran Cenote - Tulum
El Gran Cenote se encuentra ubicado a unos 3.5 kilómetros de Tulum, sobre la carretera que va hacia las ruinas mayas de Cobá, este majestuoso cenote es el más famoso del la zona. Este cenote es perfecto para los amantes del buceo, podrá esnoquelear en él, tiene forma circular en su interior podrá admirar las estalactitas y estalagmitas, su profundidad es 10 metros y es iluminada por la luz natural la cual hace ver lo espectacular del agua cristalina, no se preocupe si no lleva consigo equipo de esnorquear ahí se lo rentan, cuenta además con servicio de estacionamiento y baños.
Descubre la tranquilidad del mundo submarino y la experiencia de una inmersión flotando en las cavernas llenas de agua fresca del gran cenote en Tulum.
Nos dimos un buen baño de agua fria y pasamos un increible dia de sol en las aguas del Gran Cenote.

The Gran Cenote is a beautiful place that I recomend visiting. The water is very clear and especially in those hut summer months the cenotes are a great source of cooling down.
The Cenote is only 5 minutes away from Tulum.:) It can get very tourity but there is a hidden entrance where not so many people go :)

Fuimos a GRAND CENOTE y la verdad muyyyyyyyy padre!! La gua no estaba tan fría y la verdad uno de mis cenotes favoritos. No soy mucho de cenotes pero si vale la pena visitar.
Fuimos de nuevo a Valladolid a llevar a las primas y de nuevo fuimos a COQUI COQUI (uno de mis hoteles favoritos) tienen k visitar!

The BEST CENOTE in TULUM! Plus the Biosphere.
Tulum, Mexico is home to the incredible Sian Ka'an Biosphere Nature Reserve ( that has turquoise blue water fed from the many Cenotes in the area. Our guide through the Nature Reserve was Pastor, and if you're thinking of taking a tour through the Biosphere you must email him ahead of time. It's worth it!

We started our day off by visiting the Cenote Calavera, near Tulum, Quintana Roo, with small holes to jump through. This cenote is half in a cave and half exposed. But what makes this the best cenote is the fact that it is so close to the town of Tulum, that you can easily bike there, and it is right next to the Grand Cenote, so you can do both on the same trip.

DIVING THE GRAN CENOTE, Tulum Mexico
Haven't posted in a while so here's a quick video of a day we spent exploring the Cenotes in Tulum Mexico, specifically 'The Gran Cenote'. Tip, for a better experience go early in the morning like we did to avoid the crowds.
This Cenote is the main entrance of Sistema Sac Actun which is currently the 2nd longest underwater cave system in the world with over 176km of mapped and surveyed passages and over 130 interconnecting cenotes within the system. One place you DON'T want to get lost whilst diving.
