New year countdown Setia Walk
Grand Opening six lion dance blessing at new property gallery at Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur
A traditional lion dance performance with six lion dancer teams was carried out by at the opening of a new property sales gallery at Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur on the 1st September 2019 as a blessing for the new establishment. In the performance steeped in tradition, the ceremony began with cutting of the ribbon and taking selfies with the owners. After that carried they carried out the pomelo peeling tradition for good luck and fortune.
Then the lions proceed to enter the property to bless the interiors and their staff. Finally they performed the closing dance at the entrance to the sales gallery as a finale performance. The performance was carried out by the Fook Shuh Tong Temple (福壽堂) lion dance team of Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

Hotel Richmoore : Pudu's Famous Prostitution Den
An exclusive look into the famous Hotel Richmoore building known for prostitution next to the equally famous Pudu wet market. Also known as Kompleks Elektronik Ace, it was initially an electronics shopping complex but later morphed into a prostitution den after the electronic business failed.
It is on the 1st floor where the girls will hang out in wait of potential customers. The Kim Wah cafe here sells overpriced food and drinks to amorous guys. It is a mixture of girls from Vietnam, China and to a lesser extent, Thai and Indonesian girls. When a customer chooses a girl, they both adjourn to the girl's rented room situated on the floors above from the 5th floor all the way to the 11th floor. Prices vary from as low as RM30 to RM100 based on age and looks. Peak time is between late evening to the wee hours in the morning.
Other than prostitution, visa stamp syndicates, illegal gambling activities and other vice occupy the place. The place is guarded by eagle eyed bouncers that are paid to protect the girls as well, keep things organised as well as keep a lookout for cops.
Cops often ambush the girls on the ground and 1sr floor for a princely sum often RM2000 and above. Girls in lock ups are released after a sum is paid by people from the 'company' that operates the place. Immigration officers have also raided the place before last year (March 2015) but it is now back to square one. We guess everyone's on the take for this famous place to survive for such a long time.
