Cliff Jumping at Grasshopper Point - Sedona, Arizona
I took a day trip with a few friends to go cliff jumping at Grasshopper Point. The water was freezing, but nothing your body can't get used to. This area is a great spot for family vacations, or getaways. There is a fee for parking (cash only) but unless you're not planning on staying the whole day, it's worth it.
There are various cliffs to jump from. Obviously, be safe when choosing where to jump and always take caution with your body and know your limits. After a few jumps my shoulder seemed to have a knot so I took a break.
If you're into fun adventures, jumping from heights, and extreme sports then this attraction is definitely a spot for you!

Cliff Diving in Sedona Arizona and hiking Devils Bridge
One of my most favorite things to do is to go cliff diving in Sedona Arizona. Grasshopper Point is so much fun with some awesome people. While in Sedona we got to hike to Devils Bridge and it was amazing!! on our way out we stopped at a trout farm and got to catch our lunch. That was so much fun and so tasty!!

EpicMoonRagerz - Slide Rock and Grasshopper Point!!!
for the first time, we decided to go camping so that we could hit multiple locations. we were unable to do any kayaking because of the time it would have taken us to rent the kayak. we were, however, able to do some mountain biking instead. both grasshopper point and slide rock have great areas for cliff jumping which has easily become one of our favorite things to do on the hikes. if you have an idea of where we should go next, let us know in the comments!

In this adventure I bring along with me two of my good friends, Caroline & Alexis, and we explore together this magical place. Along the way I made a new friend who encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and jump from a cliff into the water. Meet my new friend Carys.

Crescent Moon Day Use Area
Crescent Moon sits beneath the towering Cathedral Rock, one of the most photographed scenes in the Southwest. This day-use area (group shelter also known as Ramada) is as popular as it is beautiful. Visitors will marvel at the reflection of the red cliffs in the waters of Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing.
Sedona Arizona Slide Rock State Park
Situated alongside an apple orchard, Slide Rock is 80 feet long and 2.5 to 4 feet wide, with a seven percent decline from top to bottom. Algae on the rocks creates the slippery ride.
Swimmers slide down Oak Creek
Slide Rock includes a 1/2 mile of Oak Creek that is open for swimming, wading and sliding. The world-famous slide that our park is named for is an 80 foot-long slippery chute that is worn into sandstone.
Visitor Tips
Of course, safety is always our biggest concern, so before you get in the water, here are some tips to help keep you safe:
Oak Creek can drop to near-freezing temperatures depending on the season so check before you get in.
The sandstone rocks under the water's surface are very slippery, so be very careful when crossing on foot.
Bring plenty of drinking water in reusable or plastic containers, glass containers are prohibited in the swim area.
In all situations, swimmers should exercise caution. There is no lifeguard on duty so swimming is at your own risk.
