Great Australian Bight Expedition | Explore | 4X4 Australia
4x4 Australia’s Big Bight Expedition covered a huge hunk of Australia’s southern coast.
It was three weeks of incomparable off-road exploration from Esperance in Western Australia to Baird Bay in South Australia.
Taking in rugged cliffs, beautiful unspoilt beaches, and the unforgiving limestone plateaus, it was an adventure to remember.

The Great Australian Bight, Nullarbor South Australia
The Great Australian Bight is located n the Nullarbor National Park in South Australia. This huge eroding cliff face provides spectacular views.
My video shows the erosion occurring with parts now broken away. There were warning signs of unstable cliff faces.
Great Australian Bight Overview
What an ADVENTURE! Camper Trailer Australia checked out the Great Australian Bight. We were joined by Scott from Overland International, Rob from Hema Maps, Steve and Clay from REDARC Electronics and Brad from MAXTRAX. Equipped with the GME radios, the TOYOTA Landcruisers provided by Hema and with a couple of prototype campers from ZONE RV, fitted with CRUISEMASTER suspensions and couplings, the team was set to follow in the tracks of Eyre, Thijssen and Sturt...

Protestors call out oil giants drilling in the Great Australian Bight | Adelaide | 7NEWS
Protestors have come out in full force to take a stand against drilling in the Great Australian Bight.
Wilderness Society South Australian Director Peter Owen says protests will not stop until oil giants stop drilling in the Bight.
“The vast majority of Australians do not want oil drilling in the deep, rough and pristine waters of the Great Australian Bight. “
“We’ll be staging a mock oil spill in Adelaide because this is a reality if there is a spill in the Great Australian Bight. Equinor’s oil spill modelling revealed that an oil spill from an uncontained blowout was guaranteed to impact the South Australian coast, and a spill could impact anywhere along much of southern Australia’s coast, from Western Australia right across to Australia’s east coast.”- Peter Owen.

CROSSING AUSTRALIA part-2. The Great Bight
All videos in this series are available on my Patreon feed:
From Great Australian Bight National Park I continue east, pass through Adelaide, Melbourne, the BFG tyre launch event and onto Byron Bay NSW, from where my East-West crossing can begin. I make final preparations to the vehicle in Ipswich, Queensland, and then set off. By nightfall, Kate (my daughter has joined me) and I are camped in some remote spot.
In this expedition, Andrew St Pierre White and his daughter Kate drive across Australia - twice, in a Toyota Land Cruiser 78 series Troopy. First the easy way, returning the difficult way. This is their story.

Nullarbor. The great Australian Bight.
this is a little video of the ''Great Australian Bight'' i took while traveling across australia. its on the nullarbor plain stretching from western australia to south australia. the edges of these cliffs are very brittle and crumbley. this combines with the strong winds makes it a very dangerous and scarey place to be when standing anywhere near the edge.
EDGE OF THE WORLD | GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT
The Nullarbor Plain lies along the Great Australian Bight and it is the flattest, most arid landscape in Australia. Fifty metre high cliffs greet it as it meets the ocean. For hundreds of kilometres this was our view on my expedition across Australia with my friend Luke.

Our van life dream Australia -
We are an Australian couple, living and working full-time from our self-built camper van as we travel the country. We have one goal and that is to be present and aware of the now and to live in the moment.
We've endeavoured to remove anything stress inducing from our lives, so we travel with minimal possessions, we eat simple, healthy food and we work for ourselves at our own pace. Living in a van just goes hand-in-hand with our lifestyle.
We usually spend our days parked up at the beach, working and surfing. We have a lot of people approach us, who are curious about our van and our lifestyle, so we have decided to document how we live and why we do it, hence the YouTube channel!
We really hope that you enjoy this insight into our lives.

Crossing the Nullabor | Best views in Australia, Great Australian Bight
Welcome back to another video,
This week we begin our trek across the #Nullabor. Yes it’s boring in some parts, but it also provided some of our favourite views we’ve seen this trip! We head off from Ceduna but not before stopping into the Oyster Shack on the way out of town. We also stop in to see the world renowned surf beach, Cactus Beach and were very underwhelmed with the ‘Insta-famous’ Lake Macdonnell.
Finally we popped into the iconic Nullabor Roadhouse for a quick snap, before reaching camp at Bunda Cliffs. Day 1 was 462km in total
We then made our way over the WA border! WOOOO another border crossing. We can't wait to see what WA has to offer. We completed 90 Mile Straight - Australia's longest straight road and camped up the night right at the end of the straight at a rest stop. Day 2 was 523km and on Day 3 we finally made it to Esperance!

The Nullarbor also known as the Nullarboring definitely was not boring in our eyes.
Join us this week as we leave behind Ceduna and start the 1700kms stretch of Eyre Highway along the Nullarbor Plain and into WA. Far to say camping on the Bunda Cliffs is a top 5 highlight for the trip, potentially the top highlight so we hope you enjoy this video
