Great historical place, gives us a glimpse of how the great Imam Ali ( RA) and his family lived centuries ago.
This is on most pilgrims list of places to visit while in Najaf. It is said to be the house of the first Imam.
You get a sense of history but the house has been worked on to preserve it so not sure how reflective it is of the original.
It is very simple and small. This house was originally made of clay and husk as the old houses are used to be
made than in 2000 a person renovate it on the old map to save this heritage.
