Bolsonaro and Netanyahu visit Rio synagogue
(28 Dec 2018) Brazil's President-elect Jair Bolsonaro visited the Kehilat Yaacov Synagogue with the visiting Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Friday.
The symbolic gesture served to consolidate a budding friendship between the two leaders.
We will be more than partners, we will be brothers, Bolsonaro told the congregation speaking from the podium.
We want to face our problems together to build the future, Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu met earlier with Bolsonaro at the President-elect's residence in Rio de Janeiro where the two held one-on-one meetings.
According to the Israeli Embassy, Netanyahu will stay in Rio until Tuesday, when he will travel to Brasilia for the inauguration.
The visit by Netanyahu, Israel's first Prime Minister to visit Brazil, follows a 1 November tweet by Bolsonaro stating his intention to move the Brazilian Embassy to Jerusalem.
Several Arab nations criticized the decision.

Sydney Australia⎜The City⎜2018
Tagged as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Sydney will surely keep you busy from morning till dawn. In this travelogue, I'll give my 8 Golden Don't Miss This things to do/see when you're in the city.
DON'T MISS THIS #1: Sydney Harbour Bridge
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district and the North Shore. Nicknamed The Coathanger by locals, the world call this the tallest steel-arch bridge. Its a real beauty! So massive, it took my breath away. You can walk along the bridge or go on climb the massive steel and see the city from up high or do what I did, drive along the busy lanes and go underneath it and sing All Saints' Under The Bridge.
DON'T MISS THIS #2: Sydney Opera House
The Sydney Opera House stands as an icon of Australian architecture and one of the world's most instantly recognizable buildings. The multiple performance venues feature distinctive roofs of layered sails that look like seashells, and they reside on a peninsula jutting out into Sydney Harbour beneath Sydney Harbour Bridge. I got the see this unique structure 360 degrees by land and the harbour. Truly, its one of a kind!
DON'T MISS THIS #3: City Gardens and Parks
Chill and have a relaxing walk in beautiful gardens by the sparkling blue Sydney Harbour and enjoy picnics in tranquil green oases. The parklands are perfect for strolling or just killing time while enjoying the beauty of the city. Make sure to visit the Royal Botanic Garden. it will give you a breathtaking view of the Sydney Harbour and walk under the fig trees of Hyde Park that houses the striking Archibald Fountain.
DON'T MISS THIS #4: The Concrete Jungle of the City
Get lost in Sydney's architectural wonders, the building! The Queen Victoria Building, is a late nineteenth-century building designed by the architect George McRae in the central business district of Sydney, Australia. The Romanesque Revival building was constructed between 1893 and 1898 and is 30 metres wide by 190 metres long. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Mary is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney and the seat of the Archbishop of Sydney. The cathedral is dedicated to Mary, Help of Christians, Patroness of Australia. St Mary’s holds the title and dignity of a minor basilica. St Mary's has the greatest length of any church in Australia. Sydney Tower is Sydney's tallest structure, it is also the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere, after Auckland's Sky Tower, though Sydney Tower Eye's main observation deck is almost 50 m higher than that of Auckland's Sky Tower. Government House is located in Sydney alongside the Royal Botanic Gardens, overlooking Sydney Harbour, just south of the Sydney Opera House. The Great Synagogue is a large synagogue in Sydney. It is located in Elizabeth Street opposite Hyde Park and extends back to Castlereagh Street.
DON'T MISS THIS #5: Luna Park
Luna Park Sydney is an amusement park located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Luna Park is located at Milsons Point, on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour. The park was constructed at the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge which again, another perfect spot to see the steel structure.
DON'T MISS THIS #6: Darling Harbour
Explore and be inspired at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Play, discover and relax at Darling Harbour, home to family friendly sites the Australian National Maritime Museum, Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Wild Life Sydney Zoo, Madame Tussauds Sydney and the Chinese Garden of Friendship.
DON'T MISS THIS #7: Paddington Reservoir
The Paddington Reservoir was a water reservoir which accepted water from the Botany Swamps pumping station for supply to parts of Sydney between 1866 and 1899.
DON'T MISS THIS #8: Enjoy the Street Performances
Clap, Clap, Clap to the people with the courage to perform in public places. Raw talent with great performances can be seen along the streets of the city. These performances are varied in nature; from dancing, singing, playing various types of musical instruments to street painting, street theatre, performing as a living statue and more.
