Day trip around Cape Peninsula
Driving yourself down to Cape Point and back . . . . the classic round trip of the Cape Peninsula (clockwise). The Hoho bus covers up to 4:30 and after 23:14, the middle of the video is best done in a rented car.
The map of the route: (Can be shortened by cutting out Kirstenbosch and Constantia)
There is at least one 3 second scene for every minute of the drive. Nothing boring or ugly has been removed. (except for waiting at roadworks).
The guy captured between 8:29 to 8:34 is the head of the car guard syndicate in Kalk Bay.

The city of Cape Town
Cape Town, known as South Africa's Mother City, has been continuously inhabited for three and a half centuries. It is a relaxed city and the emphasis is very much on an outdoor lifestyle.
Although an old city, Cape Town is world class and ultra modern. It is a shopper's paradise and visitors feel completely at home in malls like Canal Walk or the stylish Cavendish Square. And a shopping and eating experience all on it's own is Cape Town's Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
The City is surrounded by beaches - all the way from Clifton and Camps Bay on the Atlantic side to Muizenberg, St. James and Fish Hoek along the False Bay Coast. And there is no better view of the city than from the top of Table Mountain, a quick and easy cable car ride away.
Cape Town boasts a bustling nightlife - some of the popular spots are Long Street, Green Point, Sea Point and the ever-popular Waterkant Village. All offering bars, clubs, night spot and of course a wide selection of top class restaurants.
Cape Town is rich in history and culture and just a short drive out of the city are the Cape Winelands - where you can visit world famous and award winning vineyards.
Cape Town is the kind of City where no matter how long you plan to stay and how much you get to do, you will always have a reason to come back for more.

Cape Town From Above
Gloriously sandwiched between Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean and , Cape Town attracts more visitors than any other part of Africa. The combination of unparalleled natural splendour, a cosmopolitan culture and Mediterranean climate makes Cape Town quite a treasure. This drone footage gives an idea of the panoramic views one can enjoy from Table Mountain of the city, mountains and ocean.
Cape Town is also spoilt with sealife, most notably on the famed Seal Island and Boulder's Beach, where visitors can mingle with penguins.
Pristine beaches are also plentiful. Llandudno, Camps Bay and Muizenburg beaches are amongst the most popular and offer impressive waves year round for surfers.
Cape Town is also famed for its wine, which is exported throughout the world. The Cape wine lands themselves make for a lovely afternoon outing of lunch, wine tasting and sundowners. They are particularly special in winter, when one can enjoy a cosy glass of red wine by the fireside, looking out onto the vineyards.
World class restaurants can be found in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Camps Bay and Kalk Bay. Delicious fresh seafood is easy to come by along the coastline, with fish and chips being a local favourite.
The city comes alive with music festivals, rooftop parties and diverse social activities in the summer. Peek months run from November - March. The winter is however also a lovely time to visit for a more relaxed experience with locals, out of the high tourist season.
