Green Sapa in Vietnam - Travel Sapa
Sa Pa is a town in the Hoàng Liên Son Mountains of northwestern Vietnam. A popular trekking base, it overlooks the terraced rice fields of the Muong Hoa Valley, and is near the 3,143m-tall Phang Xi Pang peak, which is climbable via a steep, multiday guided walk. Hill tribes, such as the Hmong, Tay and Dao, make up much of the town's local population.

Sapa - Vietnam | Explore Sapa by Muong Hoa mountain rail route
Sapa - Vietnam | Explore Sapa by Muong Hoa mountain rail route
=======================================
Sapa is a wonderful mountainous town located in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam. This area is famous for the fresh cool atmosphere, the mountains behind the clouds, the stunning landscapes and the beautiful villages. Sapa looming in clouds is a poetic beauty and picturesque sight-seeing. In recent years, Sapa has become a big tourism destination in Vietnam. Thousands flock of tourists and photographers choose Sapa as the perfect choice to their Sapa group tours annually, when they want to leave all the bustling streets and pressure of working behind to relax their mind.
Hence, with purpose of the development of Sapa’s tourism, Sun Group decided to build a mountain rail route which connects the center of Sa Pa Town and the existing cable station to Fansipan Peak. On March 31, Muong Hoa rail route was opened officially, which promises wonderful group tours in Sapa for visitors.
With 2km in length, Muong Hoa is one of the longest mountainous rail route in Vietnam. The maximum speed of this train is 10m per second. In one hour, the two-carriage train serve up to 2,000 guests. If you travel Sapa by car, you need to over risky mountainous roads and take at least 20 minutes. From now, when you choose Muong Hoa mountain rail route, not only your travel time will be shorten to 4 minutes but also you can enjoy stunning landscapes. Swiss company Garaventa are the designers as well as producers of this train. Each carriage is 20m long, 3m wide and 25 tones in weight, and it can carry 200 passengers at once.
o encourage visitors to visit north mountainous areas, especially to get more Sapa tours for family, from now to 31 December 2018, Sun World Fansipan Legend are running a special discount program. A round-trip ticket on the Muong Hoa train from MGallery Hotel in Sa Pa Town to the cable station to Fansipan Peak will be discounted by up to 75% to 50,000 VND for both adults and children. This is the biggest campaign which Sun Group runs since Muong Hoa mountain rail route was opened.
Hanoi to Sapa by Bus- It NEVER Came
What a ridiculous time trying to get form Hanoi to Sapa by bus! Never in my life have I been stood up by a bus lol
After we figured out how to actually get from Hanoi to Sapa it was pretty easy. This was our first sleeper bus experience in Vietnam and we were really impressed! Although it was terrifyingly close to the edge the entire time we were on the side of the mountain, the views and hill sides were stunning. I love riding motorcycles and although we lost autonomy with the sleeper bus, I think it was the best way to get to Sapa. Greenbus did a great job at keeping everything clean and giving timely updates every chance they got. When planning your trip to Sapa, Vietnam, Greenbus is the best way to get there.
As always thank you so much for watching!

About Us!
If you had told me a year ago that we were going to sell all of our stuff to start backpacking the world, I would have called you a liar. Decisions like the one we made start with an inflection point. A point where you realize that life can never be the same anymore. After a challenging, and painful year in 2017, we decided we needed to go out and live the life we wanted to live, instead of watching it on someone else’s YouTube Channel. We had given everything we had, physically and emotionally, for other’s dreams and were ready to work that hard for ourselves. From rock bottom, Chase for Adventure was born.
The Chase Begins
We moved in with our parents, sold everything we own including our cars, and paid off $70,000 worth of debt. We worked 70hrs/week over the last year trying to save up $15,000 to make our dreams come true. Now, we are travel journalists who showcase the beauty in different cultures and inspire others to chase their dreams through our YouTube Channel and website Chase for Adventure. We want to show others that if they want something bad enough, they’ll figure out how to get it; show people who are struggling that they can make the light at the end of their tunnel. Chase for Adventure is more than just a travel vlog and blog; it’s the chronicles of what it’s like to have a dream and do whatever it takes to attain it.

2 Days and 1 Night Trekking in Sapa & Ta Van, Vietnam
Julia and I took a sleeper bus from Hanoi to Sapa and enjoyed 2 Days and 1 Night Trekking in Sapa, Vietnam.
Seeing photos of Vietnam post-war makes it looks like a magical place. That's because despite the poverty, it is a breathtaking place, filled with great food, beautiful people, and rich culture.
Visiting Vietnam has always been on my bucket list so when I finally got a chance to go I had to visit the beautiful, luscious green rice paddies in Sapa.
Trekking in Sapa you'll see some of the cutest children. Some of them are running around playing, many of them will be helping with the household chores but there are some who will take days off school to help their family financially by trying to sell items to tourists.

Sa Pa - The most beautiful place in Vietnam!
This is Vietnam as you picture it out of a magazine or a brochure.
If you're heading to Vietnam we recommend you visit Sa Pa. The landscape is amazing!
We arrived at our hostel in the valley at night with just enough time to get in a few beers before bed. In the morning we awoke to the beautiful green rice terraces that ran through the valley. We joined an awesome group of people on a trek through the valley taking in the amazing scenery and the beautiful culture.

Terraced rice fields in Sapa Vietnam - The picture of nature with color has been changed seasonally
Terraced rice fields in Sapa were voted as one of seven most beautiful and impressive ones of Asia and the world by readers of the US’s magazine Travel and Leisure.
When being seen from afar, the terraced rice fields look like a picture of nature with heart- catching beauty keeping tourists to stay for admiration for a while. This picture however has its color changed seasonally, exhibiting its most alluring charm when the new crop begins, green rice grows and the field is lush with ripening rice.
As usual in April and May when the local people water their fields at full to prepare for a new crop, the surface of terraced fields shines like a mirror reflecting the contrast of the reddish brown of soil, the deep blue of the sky high above and the green of surrounding forests. Embankments surrounding these terraces look like threads softly lined by the painter.
In June and July, the terraced rice fields with fully-grown paddy rice and forest trees spread the green out to the entire area, from the foot to top of mountains, before disappearing in mist. The green of paddy rice grown on the terraced field makes tourists think of it as a hand-made creation of uniqueness which cannot be found anywhere else.
In September and October when autumn ends, tourists can feel prosperity all over the area as rice in all terraced fields is ripe, giving the gold color. During the time, the terraced rice fields look like golden silk scarves flying over in the wind above green mountain slopes, making the mountainous landscape astonishingly beautiful.
In order to enjoy this beautiful view, you can view our Sapa Tours with different options of 2 days,3 days or 4 days to do trekking in connection with homestaying and typical weekly local markets!Surely you will have great time in Sapa!

Travel Guide to Sapa - Vietnam
350km from Hanoi, Sa Pa Vietnam is a stone's throw from the Chinese border. The area's Hoang Lien Son mountain range includes Vietnam's highest peak, Fansipan, at 3,142m. The trek can be done in a day, but it is recommended that hikers go overnight as you don't want to run down a muddy trail to beat the sunset. Sapa weather is moderate and cool in the summer, wet from May to September and foggy and cold in winter with occasional snow.
