Summer 2017: South Cebu, Philippines

So me and three of my friends decided to explore the south of Cebu for the long weekend with our bagpacks while riding our motorcycle bikes. Anyways, between those days, we saw and experienced the wonders of nature and how amazingly God sculpted the earth for us. Beautiful is an understatement. Uh huh. And my videos and photos doesn't do any justice to how grand and amazing the places and views were in actual. Its sounds so clichè but whatever! I am inlove with tranquility and anything blue and green and fresh. I am inlove with our country, the Philippines.
Starting from where we are, the Liloan port, we went straight to the first falls on the list and went on with our roadtrip. T'was one hell of a ride and so much of the hiking. Believe me, you better warm yourselves up before taking this trip. Please see these places for yourself! Its so cheap. Yes you read it right, cheap!! Its much more convenient and budget friendly when you have a ride of your own; but make sure your ride can make it through the hills, rocks, and steep roads along the way to make the adventure less of a hassle and more of the fun. Entrances in all falls cost about 30-40 php. The first three falls on the list do require a tour guide to ensure safety for the climb is tough and quite dangeruos out there. After, you decide on how much you'll pay for the services of the tour guide. Ours ranges from 150-200 php; but it depends on you guys really. Finally, when the sun is going down, the dark is up for some business but worry no more since there are tents that are for rent for the come-and-go tourists at Moalboal beach. Who doesn't love camping by the beach? With all the other campers, you can enjoy the rest of the night with some cold beer maybe, making new friends, night swimming, gazing at the stars, and a deep conversation to top it all off. After the long day and under the dusky sky, we, the campers, wearily bedded down for the night for there awaits another exciting day.

Completely blown away with the diving in Malapascua, Philippines. Loads of Thresher Sharks, Octopus, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, White Tip Reef Sharks, Cave Diving, Bob Tail Squids, Crabs, Mantis Shrimps, Frogfishes, Seahorses, Pipefishes and loads more. It's also a great place to spend a week and just relax. Perfect weather and beautiful beaches. Ca 2 hours by car from Cebu, and then 30 min by boat.

Aquaman (Arthur Curry) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Shopping in a Philippine Market
Foreigners are usually surprised when they first see our open markets (palengke). I have seen pictures of the markets in the USA online, so I understand ours look quite different. Shopping early in the morning gets you the best meat cuts and the freshest produce. I usually go shopping about 5:00am. Not only do I get fresh foods then, but I 'beat the heat' as Jack puts it. On this trip I am looking for good shrimps so I can cook ginataang hipon. That is Shrimps cooked in coconut milk. It is one of jack's favorite foods.
