The Wirral Bus Tram Show 6th October 2019
The 22nd Wirral Bus and Tram show was held on 6th October 2019 and what an absolute cracker it was too. This was my first opportunity to see the improvements to the Taylor Street Museum. Classic cars at the 12 Quays College, Buses and commercial vehicles at the Cheshire Lines building and Military vehicles next to the Museum. With a great variety of Buses in service along with the Trams I think its fair to say this event gets better each year. Many thanks to everyone involved in this brilliant event.

No Tunnel for Melbourne Rally -Better Public Transport
The Victorian Government is ignoring sound practice and wants to spend $18 Billion on tunnels and freeways to appease big business and destroy neighborhoods and kick thousands out of their homes and ignore providing Public Transport to meet the proper needs of this city. Wake up Mr Brumby, you will not be in office long if you continue with this plan. Mr Eddington is a lacky for business not good practical commonsense... bad choice on your part. So no more stupidity, build decent and necessary and long overdue Public Transport Infrastructure, forget freeways, they are the deathnell of liveable society and another dinosaur about to go extinct along with gas guzzling cars for personal mobility..NO TUNNEL, BUILD PUBLIC TRANSPORT !

Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong by BUS
Location: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Khong, Thailand
Today we embarked on an overland journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong. First we took a bus from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. This journey took about three and half hours. We left from the Chiang Mai bus terminal at 11:30 via the green bus company.
After arriving in Chiang Rai we quickly boarded a local bus that would take us the rest of the way to Chiang Khong. The local bus from Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong took about two hours, and there was no A/C on the bus. It was a hot ride, but also a very beautiful ride because we got to see the rural country side of Thailand.
After arriving in Chiang Khong, we caught a tuk tuk to our guest house. The journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong was more pleasant than expected. Anytime we have to ride on buses all day, I always prepare myself for the worst. However, I would recommend going overland between these two cities to anyone.

Ventura #809 2601AO Scania L113CRL (route 732) 261015
A ride on a Ventura Scania L113CRL from the Knoxfield Depot, number #809, on route 732 Box Hill-Upper Ferntree Gully. The video commences at the Vermont South route 75 tram terminus and finishes at the Westfield Knox City Shopping Centre at Wantirna South, travelling along the Burwood Highway.
Ventura is currently in the process of replacing older model buses in their fleet, and the Scania L113CRL fleet, which were the first low floor buses built for the Ventura fleet between 1996 and 1997 are earmarked for replacement within the next 12 months. This particular L113CRL has a Volgren CR221L body, while others in the fleet were built with a Northcoast Buddina body - I will try to record these as well when the opportunity presents itself.
Route 732 is a route which operates between the Box Hill Transport Interchange and Upper Ferntree Gully in the mountainous east of Melbourne. High frequency services operate between the Vermont South Tram Terminus and Knox City Shopping Centre to provide a link from the tram to the shopping centre. 809 is operating a full 732 service from Box Hill.
NOTE: Apologies for how dark this video is, the morning this was filmed was very gloomy and wet.
Bus: Ventura (Knoxfield Depot) #809
Chassis: Scania L113CRL
Body: Volgren CR221L
Registration: 2601AO
Route: 732
Filmed between: Vermont South Tram Terminus - Knox City Shopping Centre.
