Greenway is an estate on the River Dart near Galmpton in Devon, England. It was first mentioned in 1493 as Greynway, the crossing point of the Dart to Dittisham. In the late 16th century a Tudor mansion called Greenway Court was built by the Gilbert family. Greenway was the birthplace of Humphrey Gilbert. The present Georgian house was probably built in the late 18th century by Roope Harris Roope and extended by subsequent owners. It was bought by Agatha Christie and her husband Max Mallowan in 1938. The Greenway Estate was acquired by the National Trust in 1999 and it is now a Grade II* listed building. The estate is known for its large riverside gardens, which contain plants from the southern hemisphere and have been open to the public since March 2002.
The house was occupied by Christie and Mallowan until their deaths in 1976 and 1978 respectively. Christie's daughter Rosalind Hicks and her husband Anthony lived in the house from 1968. Rosalind Hicks died in 2004.
The garden is open to the public as is the Barn Gallery, which shows work by contemporary local artists. The house's restoration is complete and is open to the public

Dittisham is a village and civil parish in the South Hams district of the English county of Devon. It is situated on the banks of the tidal River Dart, some 2 miles upstream of Dartmouth. In 2001, the parish had a population of 424.

The Greenway Ferry carries pedestrians across the river from Dittisham to Greenway Quay, adjacent to the Greenway Estate. Once the home of the crime writer Agatha Christie, this has views across the river, and the house and gardens are now owned by the National Trust and are open to the public.

The equivalent figures for 1801 and 1901 are 639 and 549. Dittisham has given its name to the Dittisham plum, a dessert variety grown here. The fictitious Lady Dittisham is one of the main characters In Agatha Christie's Five Little Pigs.
