Insane at Gröna Lund is the tallest Intamin Zac Spin coaster in the world. As the name suggests, it's a crazy ride that involves spinning, over the edge drops and several changes of direction. No two rides are ever the same.

Gröna Lund's Amusement Park - The official guide Grona Lunds Tivoli (Stockholm, Sweden): Top Tips Before he building permit for Ikaros, Gröna Lund’s new Intamin Sky Jump drop tower, has been denied. The Land and Environmental Court stated that the building application for the amusement park contained insufficient information about the impact of the new attraction on the environment.Two local residents filed the appeal on the grounds that the provincial government did not have sufficient data regarding the impact the sound of the new attraction would make on the environment and the court agreed in its judgment.The park is sticking to the ride’s planned opening date of April 2017 and stated they would appeal against the ruling while continuing construction of the attraction in anticipation of overturning the denial.
Ikaros is a 312 foot (95m) tall tower, the seats of which lean forward 90° before the drop that allows riders to look downward during the free fall.Read more in our Forums discussion.The ride will not be around a circular tower, however; it will be around a square tower with two gondolas on each side. From what can be judged, it will most likely be themed to the story of Icarus, the man who flew too close to the sun in Greek mythology and had his wings burnt. This will be an impressive ride to Grona Lund’s already massive lineup and will most likely be another hit! What are your thoughts on this new drop tower.

Gröna Lund Vlog May 2018
As Gröna Lund celebrates 135 years since it first opened, we return to this beautiful amusement park located in the centre of Stockholm, Sweden. The park opened back in 1883 and over the years has seen many different rides and attractions come and go from the popular amusement park.
In this vlog we share on ride POV's from all of the major attractions at the park including Jetline, Twister, Ikaros and one of the best ghost trains we've ever experienced. We also share plenty of off ride footage from this beautiful park, talk about the exciting new coaster coming to Gröna Lund in 2021 and much more!

Tivoli Gröna Lund is a amusement park built on a pier at Stockholms Djurgården. This amusement park near central Stockholm is very popular among both locals and tourists. In this video, shot on June 7 2012, you see rollercoasters like Kvasten, Insane, Jetliner, Vilda Musen and other popular rides of Gröna Lund.

Check out this major feat in engineering. How did the Gravity Group and Gröna Lund managed to fit in so much coaster into such a small space? There's 1,575 feet of track crammed in and on top of itself with the Jetline Schwarzkopf coaster diving in and out of there too.

Fun at GRÖNA LUND, Swedens Oldest Amusement Park - Stockholm, Sweden
Gröna Lund is Swedens oldest amusement park. It opened in 1883. It is on the seaward side of Djurgården Island. It is a small park and has about 1 500 000 (2016) visitors a year. The park usually open late april and closes late september.
We had a hot day there and my two camera assistants took many rides.

It's hard to believe that this Schwarzkopf coaster is exactly the same as Knightmare at Camelot Theme Park in England was. Don't you just love the way it interacts with the Vilda Musen and Twister coasters?
