Casino Allstars - Loving on the Losing Side

The Casino Allstars, performing a track recorded at the Town Hall Tavern, Stockport, behind slides of the seven-piece band performing live gigs at several pubs and venues across the Manchester and Stockport areas.

The Allstars are the UK's top Northern Soul band - totally unique both in their presentation and the sound they produce.

During every gig they're determined to deliver a performance that appeals to everyone who enjoys hearing good live music and seeing great entertainment. Their songs consists of classic Northern Soul hits from the days of the Twisted Wheel [Manchester] and Wigan Casino, right up to the present day tracks played at soul nights up and down the country. With the combination of one female and two male vocalists along with five excellent musicians - guitarist, bass player, keyboards, saxophonist and drums - the end result is a huge, exciting sound.
Not only do they sound the part, but they look the part with their smart suits and retro clothing. They have performed at many of the best venues across The North West, most notably the Twisted Wheel - being the first live band to have played there for over 35 years. Their fan base is growing larger by the day, and their followers receive regular newsletters and gig confirmations by emailed newsletter.

- Counterfeit Abba started their journey in 2000, the beginning of a new millennium and also the birth of what has now become one of the UK's most sought after Abba tribute bands.

We booked Abba through your agency and we just have to send a resounding WOW for such a fabulous afternoon. We are a centre for adults with learning disabilities and many friends were invited along to boogie on down. Having worked with Counterfeit Abba 16-1-09 I was very impressed with the sound and lighting. True professionalism is the only way I can describe their performance. The lighting was switched to the various moods of the songs and they had 95% of guests dancing. They were so confident and relaxed thoughout their show. I have been in entertainment 40 years and worked with other Abba tribute bands but these are top artistes -- Chris Neave (Norfolk)
