In this vid I take a walk from the Ground Zero Memorial in downtown Kuta to Kuta Beach via Poppies 2.
Standing at Ground Zero Memorial is an experience I'll never forgot and I was overcome with deep sadness at the loss of life for those people and their families.
Ground Zero Memorial
The Bali Bombing Memorial pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the October 12, 2002 terrorist attack in Kuta. The elegant monument reveals the names of 202 people from various countries who died in the blasts.
In addition to the fatalities, 209 people were injured as a result of the suicide blast, car bomb and a smaller device.
If the temporary guardrails are open, climb the steps on either side of the main platform to get a closer look at the list of victims and their 20 nationalities. Tall poles along the two sets of stairs were installed to hold flags from these countries.

Kita pasti masih ingat tragedi bom Bali, pada tanggal 12 Oktober 2012 di tempat wisata Kuta yang mengakibatkan meninggalnya 202 jiwa, 88 orang berwarganegara Australia, 38 warga negara Indonesia, 7 warga negara Amerika dan 6 warga negara swedia. Peristiwa pemboman ini lebih dikenal dengan nama bom Bali 1, karena terjadi 2 kali pemboman di Bali.
Untuk mengenang tragedi ini, pemerintah daerah Bali, membangun sebuah monumen peringatan yang di beri nama Monumen Panca Benua. Dikalangan wisatawan, monumen peringatan tragedi bom Bali 1, lebih terkenal dengan nama Monumen Ground Zero Bali. Setiap tahun pada tanggal 12 Oktober, banyak orang yang datang dari berbagai negara, berkumpul di tempat tugu peringatan bom Bali, untuk mengenang tragedi bom Bali.
Lokasi pemboman dari bom Bali 1 di jalan Legian Kuta, tepatnya di Paddy’s Pub dan di depan Sari Club. Lokasi dari Paddy’s Pub inilah yang dijadikan sebagai lokasi lokasi monumen ground zero Bali. Lalu apakah Paddy’s Pub tutup? Tentunya tidak, Paddy’s Pub di relokasi keselatan tepat berada di depan monumen Ground Zero Bali. Selain itu namapun berubah menjadi Paddy’s Club dan lebih terkenal dengan nama Paddy’s reload.
Jalan Legian Kuta salah satu pusat kehidupan malam di Bali, di sepanjang pinggir jalan banyak terdapat bar, diskotik, restoran, dan hotel. Hampir setiap malam jalan Legian tidak pernah sepi wisatawan manca negara dan domestik yang gemar akan kehidupan malam.

Bali Bombing Memorial is a memorial to the 202 people murdered by the bombs on 12th October 2002.
Because of this bombing 202 people: 88 people Australians, 38 Indonesians, 7 and 6 Americans and Swedish were died.
The local government of Bali built thel monument named Panca Continent to commemorate this tragedy on the site of the destroyed Paddy's Pub on Legian Street.
