A super fun summer day trip to Grouse Mountain up the Gondola to see the Bears, ZipLine, Lumberjack show and much more as part of the Vancouver Sights travel series!

This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vancouver, and for good reason. The view from the ride up the Gondola is breathtaking, and there's a lot to see at the top. The Bears, Grinder and Coola is a highlight, but there's also live shows like the Lumberjack and Birds in Motion shows. We rode right to the top on the Ski Lifts to see the view from the Eye of the Wind and caught a hang glider taking off. A great, fun packed, day out for the whole family.

Grouse Mountain
is one of the North Shore Mountains of the Pacific Ranges in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Exceeding 1,200 m in altitude at its peak, the site is overlooking Greater Vancouver. In the summer, the mountain features lumberjack shows and a 2.9 km hiking trail known as the Grouse Grind. Year-round operations include a 100-seat mountaintop theatre and a wildlife refuge. Public access to the mountain top is by a Swiss Garaventa aerial tramway, or the Grouse Grind hiking trail.

Driving Down from GROUSE Mountain - North Vancouver City BC Canada - 2017

We are start our journey from the base of Grouse Mountain.

As we descend that big hill, we pass by the ever so exciting Capilano Suspension Bridge (2:56 -- it takes 2 minutes to cross... and costs over $40). By the end of this video, we return to civilization.

The music is trying to evoke a primitive feel.

OUR CHRISTMAS EVE ON GROUSE MOUNTAIN 2017

We were so excited to spend our Christmas Eve in Canada, on top of Grouse Mountain.

It was really magical being up in the mountains surrounded by tons of snow, lights and smiling people (even Santa Clause on skates).

We have also been feeling pretty festive throughout December so we did some fun activities such as: stuffing our bellies with all sorts of foods (thanks again to two beers please for their recommendation), went to Vancouver's annual Christmas market and we even attended Micha's Christmas work party!

All in all, we are glad that we are nearly caught up with our vlogs (1 more to go) and we hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!!

We are driving to the base of Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.

For those that want an achievable work-out, there's nothing more satisfying than the Grouse Grind (basically a nickname for the trail that can be found at the end of this video). You'll be amazed by the sensational view at the top while the sweat drips off your forehead...

The music was created by one person that used to do the Grind when he was younger...
