Rockham Bay Mortehoe North Devon - Low Tide & Collier Wreck Explore 2014
More low tide exploring,this time at the picturesque Rockham Bay,which sadly has suffered badly in the recent storms & the access path has collapsed.
All around here is the scattered wreck of the S.S Collier 1914 mail steamer including the giant ships boiler(100 year centenary).

A quick 360 degree view of the gorgeous surroundings on a sunny day in north devon!
Morte Point, Mortehoe Walks, South West Coast Path Walks, North Devon Walks, England UK
Morte Point, Mortehoe Walks, South West Coast Path Walks, North Devon Walks, England UK
Morte Point, Mortehoe Walks was about 4.75 miles in distance on the South West Coast Path. The terrain of the route was a combination of quiet roads and a drive; woodland, rocky coastal and heathland paths. The walking was on undulating ground with a number of sections of steep ascent and descent which made this walk quite demanding. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. There were no stiles to negotiate.
