Rungrado 1st of May Stadium is located in Pyongyang, North Korea. It is among the largest stadium in the world with the capacity to accommodate up to 150,000 people. The multi-purpose stadium mainly hosts football matches and athletics events. However, it frequently hosts the mass games known as Arirang Festival. The stadium is named after its location (Rungrado Islet) and the day of its completion (May 1, 1989). The events are held on the main pitch which sprawls over 242,000 square feet while the total area covered by the stadium id 2.2 million square feet. The stadium is most famous for performance and celebrations of Kim II Sung and the country. The extravaganza attracts over 100,000 people including foreigners.

Bukit Jalil National Stadium is 110,000 capacity stadium located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The multi-purpose stadium was inaugurated on January 1, 1998, and hosted the opening ceremony of the 1998 Commonwealth Games. The Malaysian national football team adopted the stadium as its home ground after the Commonwealth Games. It was also the host stadium for the 2001 SAEAC Games. Its capacity makes it the 24th largest in the world and the second largest football stadium. The stadium’s facilities include grass pitch, synthetic track, warm-up track, broadcast studios, matrix scoreboards, and video screen board.
