Huangshan (literal meaning: Yellow Mountain) is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China.
The area is well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly-shaped granite peaks, Huangshan pine trees, hot springs, winter snow, and views of the clouds from above. Huangshan is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of China's major tourist destinations.
The Huangshan mountain range has many peaks, some more than 1,000 meters (3,250 feet) high. The three tallest and best-known peaks are Lotus Peak (Lianhua Feng, 1,864 m), Bright Peak (Guangming Ding, 1,840 m) and Celestial Peak (Tiandu Feng, literally Capital of Heaven Peak, 1,829 m).

Yellow Mountain West Sea Grand Canyon Monorail Ride | Huangshan Xihai, China~

West Sea Grand Canyon a long loop that goes around the western portion of Yellow Mountain. Looking at the Google Earth, you will find the Canyan is much like a huge U;, surrounded by many dominating peaks, such as Danxia Peak, Stone Pillar Peak, Stone Bed Peak, Nine Dragons Peak, Flying-over the Rock, etc. It has two entrances: Dispelling Clouds Pavilion and Fairy Walking Bridge. Dispelling Clouds Pavilion, known as the Northern Entrance, is located at the top of the canyon where you can walk about 2hrs down to the bottom of the West Sea Grand Canyon. You can get to Dispelling Clouds Pavilion from Beihai Hotel, Xihai Hotel, Shilin Hotel and Paiyunlou Hotel easily within a half hour. Travelling from Yungu Cableway to Dispelling Clouds Pavilion takes about 2 hours. Fairy-walking Bridge is located at Tianhai area, about 1hr’s walking from Baiyun Hotel and Bright Summit, and about 2~3 hours walking from Beihai Hotel, Xihai Hotel. Starting from Yuping Cableway, you have to walk around 3~4 hours to get to the Fairy-walking Bridge.

Huangshan (simplified Chinese: 黄山; traditional Chinese: 黃山 or Yellow Mountain), is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China.
The range is composed of material that was uplifted from an ancient sea during the Mesozoic era, 100 million years ago. The mountains themselves were carved by glaciers during the Quaternary.
The area is well known for its indescribable scenery, sunsets, peculiarly shaped granite peaks, Huangshan Pine trees, and views of the ocean of clouds from above.
Huangshan is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of China's major tourist destinations and far considered the most beautiful mountain of the whole of China.
The Huangshan mountain range has many peaks, some more than 1,000 meters high. The three tallest and best-known peaks are Lotus Peak (Lian Hua Feng, 1,864 m), Bright Summit Peak (Guang Ming Ding, 1,840 m), and Celestial Peak (Tian Du Feng, literally Capital of Heaven Peak, 1,829 m). The World Heritage Site covers a core area of 154 square kilometres.
The vegetation of the area varies with elevation. Mesic forests cover the landscape below 1,100 meters. Deciduous forest stretches from 1,100 meters up to the tree line at 1,800 meters. Above that point, the vegetation consists of alpine grasslands. The area has diverse flora, where one-third of China's bryophyte families and more than half of its fern families are represented. The Huangshan pine (Pinus hwangshanensis) is named after Huangshan and is considered an example of vigor because the trees thrive by growing straight out of the rocks. Many of the area's pine trees are more than a hundred years old and have been given their own names (such as the Ying Ke Pine, or Welcoming-Guests Pine, which is thought to be over 1500 years old).

Huangshan 黄山 is well known for its scenery, especially for the sunrise, sunset, granite peaks, and those famous pine trees (a lot of them). We also saw the clouds ocean. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in China. There is an old saying that the Huangshan scenery makes other mountains look small. I took a lot of beautify pictures in Huangshan using a Canon EOS Rebel XTi camera with an Ultrasonic telephoto lens. I spent 3 days 2 nights up on the mountain. It was a very nice trip.

The West China Sea Grand Canyon
The West China Sea Grand Canyon is a space surrounded by nearby stone pillar peaks, stone bed peaks, thin knife peaks and flying stones in front of the right, opposite Paiyun Pavilion, Danxia Peak, Pinglin Peak, Jiulong Peak and Yunwai Peak in front of the left.Xihai Grand Canyon Ground Rail Cable Car, the next station is located at the bottom of the valley at 1209 meters above sea level, and the last station is located at the Stone Bed Peak in the Tianhai Scenic Area. The whole journey of the cable car is 892 meters, with an elevation difference of 497 meters.
The peculiar pine trees in Huangshan Mountain have various shapes, or stand tall and erect like giants in the sky; or the green branches stretch out like flowing water and clouds;or the roots of tamarind stick together like Canglong Lingbo; or the vigorous and mighty tigers return to the mountains like welcoming pine, seeing off pine and accompanying pine, which make people feel more cordial;the harp pine, Lianli pine, exploring pine and imaginative.
Wonderful rocks of the Huangshan Mountains are dotted with magnificent peaks and seas of the Huangshan Mountains. They are unique in shape, big or small, competing and interesting. Its form is very strange and amazing. Similar to human beings, birds and beasts, different modalities, vivid images, vivid, interesting.

Hongcun Ancient Architectural Complex is located 11 kilometers northeast of Yixian Town, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It is a residential complex in Huizhou during Ming, Qing and Hongcun is surrounded by mountains on three sides, representing buildings such as Nanhu Academy, Yuexutang, Chengzhi Tang and more than 100 Ming and Qing Dynasty dwellings.
