Today I had a bit of a flight around Jinshan Temple in Jinshan park (Gold mountain) which a famous scenic spot in the west of Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province. With a history of more than 1600 years, Jinshan Temple was built in the Jinshan Mountain during the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317 AD - 420 AD). Occupying an area of 48 acres with flowing waters, Jinshan Temple has calligraphy written by the Chinese Emperor Kangxi (1654 - 1722) in which four Chinese characters state “江天禅寺 (Jiang Tian Chan Si), which indicates “a Buddhist temple between the river and sky”. I have visited this temple many times but it was wonderful to get up and see from above. I will go back here when summer has arrived but until then please enjoy this tranquil place.
