Adeyto ???? CHASING NORTHERN LIGHTS with GUIDE GUNNAR Tromsø Norway AURORA BOREALIS ????️ Huawei P20 PRO
Guide Gunnar saved me from not seeing the NORTHERN LIGHTS on my first night in Tromsø (when another agency suddenly cancelled on me) and drove with us hundred of kilometers until we found a hole in the very cloudy sky and could SUCCESSFULLY photograph Aurora Borealis thanks to the famous and pioneer in this domain, Gunnar the Guide!! And you definitely need such chaser knowing where to take you, each night different place depending on weather and skies, otherwise you go all the way to expensive Tromsø Norway and see nothing at all!! He is helping you set up your camera, borrows you solid tripods, warm body suit against arctic cold and also insulating warm boots if you need them!! A delicious soup and snacks and my favorite Svolvaer Hot Berry Juice! A successful and happy trip with kind-hearted:

GuideGunnar - The Movie!
Join GuideGunnar on a hike. You do not have to be into extreme experiences in the nature, but it is of course good if you want to give your body that extra kick it is to feel a bit of cold and to expose yourself to dramatic changes in the weather, while looking forward to new challenges, like skiing in loose snow, or using snow-shoes, together with ice fishing, which can be both relaxing and a test of your patience at the same time.
GuideGunnar will take care of you and would also gladly serve you a tasty meal surrounded by our beautiful nature. Follow GuideGunner to discover the silence only found in nature - and perhaps you are lucky enough to meet the pride of the high plains - the reindeer! Finally, when night falls, maybe you will be invited to a dance with our Lady Aurora...
Thanks to Margaret Campbell and Andrew Robertson for the skiing trip.
Also many thanks to Daniel and Steijn in Tundra Tree Productions for a wonderful week on Ringvassøya, Arctic Norway in March 2012.

Aurora Borealis, Tromso Norway September 2015
I was privileged to witness the Aurora Borealis, The Northern Lights several times during my stay in Tromso, Norway. There were a few stand out nights above the rest, where the aurora danced across the sky in all it's formations and multitude of colours. This time-lapse is the culmination of those nights. My favourite quote to describe the aurora is by Austrian explorer Julius von Payer, who said No pencil can draw it, no colors can paint it, and no words can describe it in all its magnificence. I'll add to this that no photograph, nor video can truly do justice to the awe and euphoric experience of witnessing the lights with the naked eye, it's something that must be seeing to be believed.
I'd like to give a big thank you to both Gunnar ( and Kjetil ( who were fantastic tour guides and helped make this happen for me... and for introducing me to Norwegian sweets :) .
Music by Enya, track China Roses. Thanks for watching.

Whale Watching Tromso Arctic Norway I
January 16th, 2016 I follow out on the fjords with my colleague Marcus, in for his whale watching tour. We started the tour out from Lauklines Kystferie, in Kattfjord, and sailed out to Håja (the model for the Arctic Cathedral), and then towards Sommarøy.
Pity, but I forgot my zoom and had only with me the Aurora lens, 14-24 mm, so I decided me for quit the pictures and do filming instead with my Nikon D7000, and it went it to a great success.
It was a crazy day out on the fjords together with the humpback whales. Just loved it..;)

UK-NOR 25 - Tromso, City life. A solid NIMBUS! And Northern lights!
NOTE: We are not city people we have figured out. City walking and shopping is not really our thing..but we managed to trek around Tromso, after we got a clean bill of health from the mechanic! Got told there was no engine issues which we were STOKED! about.
So we celebrated by enjoying some local beer at Mack Brewery and banging northern lights! What more could you ask for??
Kvaløya - The Whale Island
One out of seven short videos I have filmed and edited for my brother Gunnar and his firm GuideGunnar, showing how the landscapes looks like in summer/autumn, throough which he takes his guests through in the winter. The music is by the group Fádnu and composed and perfomed by Øistein Hanssen on various instruments made from natural resources, with Sami joik performed by Berit Alette Mienna and also Bernt Mikkel Haglund who treats the percussion as well.
GuideGunnar - Taste the Arctic!
