Nairobi Skyscrapers and Modern Buildings (Self Guided), Nairobi
Nairobi is quite a new and developing city and it has a lot of places of interest. One thing that is worth seeing is the Nairobi skyline with its skyscrapers. These high glass glittering buildings are really fascinating. Most of them are located in the Central Business District of the city which is where you can find the highest buildings in eastern and central Africa.
Thanks For Watching and I hope you enjoyed the Video.

NAIROBI City Walk

A LOOK INSIDE UNITED NATIONS COMPOUND IN NAIROBI KENYA
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is one of four major United Nations office sites[a] where numerous different UN agencies have a joint presence. Established in 1996, it is the UN's headquarters in Africa
he complex of buildings is located next to the Karura Forest in the Gigiri district of Nairobi, along United Nations Avenue. It stands across the street from the US Embassy in Kenya.
The UN complex contains a 'green' building, a completely energy and carbon-neutral building, housing UNEP and UN-Habitat offices.[4][5] The building is the first of its kind in Africa, recycling water and using natural light to reduce reliance on artificial lighting. In addition, the building is designed to use natural flow of air as a substitute to air conditioning, and it contains solar panels to generate all the energy that the building might consume.[6] It was opened on 31 March 2011 by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki.[7]
Burned Trees, a series of sculptures designed by Monegasque artist Philippe Pastor aimed at drawing attention to forest conflagrations, has been exhibited continuously at the office since 2006.
he office complex can also be visited by the public, in the form of pre-booked, guided tours, provided by the UN Visitors' Service of Nairobi. Anyone interested has the opportunity to book a tour, during which one can learn about the history and work of the UN, while also getting an opportunity to see the offices, including the above mentioned green building. Tours are available during office hours each day, in various languages (e.g. English, Chinese, German, French, Kiswahili).

Nairobi Animal orphange | Things To Do In Nairobi
Picture this, a couple of lions roaring so loudly and one looking at you like delicious bacon. What would you do?
We visited the Nairobi animal orphanage this week and had a lot of fun while at it including scary moments too.The orphanage hosts lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, rare Sokoke cats, warthogs, leopards, various monkeys, baboons and buffalo.
It is part of the larger Nairobi National Park that is the only park in a city in the world. It is best to visit on a weekday since its less crowded.
Check out how it went down.

We visited the Kenya National Archives and learnt a few fun facts about Kenya and Africa at large:

I Should Not Have Gone On This Day ????
So I decided to visit the Nairobi National Park on a self-drive. I used a Toyota corolla 2 wheel drive and I didn't have a guide accompanying me. I spent around 4 hours in the park and drove around following other tour vans that seemed to know where they were going.
I went to this national park in Kenya to let you know if it's worth visiting.
My total expenses were:
1. Fuel: $15
2. Entry Fee:
- Vehicle: $3
- 2 Passengers: $4 each
TOTAL: $26
You can check out the full fee schedule for entering Nairobi National Park and other Kenyan Parks for foreigners by checking out this PDF
